Afolabi Akanni, the Ekiti State Assembly lawmaker in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) custody, has been confirmed to be alive. Akannni, who represents Efon constituency at the state’s assembly, had been in the DSS detention since March 4 was on Thursday paraded by the security agents before journalists in Abuja. Recall that earlier on Thursday, the Ekiti state Commissioner for Information, Mr. Lanre Ogunsuyi speaking at a press conference in Ado-Ekiti claimed Akanni had died in DSS custody.
