Once upon a time in Nigeria reigned Three brothers who held the country spell bound by their managerial skills and amazing musical talent. One was a fantastic manager bringing them together, the other two amazing singers and dancers. If this narration fits the Trio of Jude Okoye, Peter and Paul okoye alias Psquare, Well then You are absolutely right

Since the story of their conflict and eventual split from their Manager and the group became open, The Blogsphere has been held captive with the whole drama surrounding one of Nigeria’s most beloved musical group: Psquare
We have heard various versions of how their crises began: some attributing to the various women in their lives, in which case implying their wives, most commonly mentioned is Lola Omotayo Okoye who is married to Peter Okoye who is alleged to be responsible for their breakup, others to their Elder brothers manner of running the affairs of the group and many more stories. Well its no longer news that they have broken from their Manager and also alleged to have broken from the group.

For a group that has performed with international artists like Ginuwine and Sean Paul, Akon. Once named the Artist of the Year in 2010. Sold over 8 million copies worldwide and with a huge fan base especially in africa, it really is a sad one for them to just walk away from all this achievement because of a misunderstanding regardless of how bad it is. Their albums which includes Last night, get squared, game over, Danger, The Invasion and Double trouble will however continue to remain a classic for upcoming musical artiste especially group collaboration.

The questions on the lips of everyone is: can the two brothers make it without their elder brother, can they make it individually as solo artist or will they ever be a comeback.

Time will tell, What we fans can only hope for them is that the brothers unite for the sake of their late Mum whom they cherished and for their numerous fans who have kept faith with them over the years. Would that be too much to ask.
