I have a website "example.com" hosted on qservers.
I have app on AWS
I want to run the app on the sub-domain "app.example.com", while it is still hosted on AWS
How do i do these please guys?

I believe you should contact their support for assistance on this. But off head this is as simple as changing your subdomain dns www record to the IP of the server or you can do a simple redirection.

I want to change the name of the day on aws to the subdomain

Yh. Create a cname from your domain dns settings and point it to the public ip address of your ec2 instance.

Then the way you map the domain to your app's folder is the way you would on any vps.

Edit /etc/hosts and add this line
127.0.1.1 subdomain.example.com

And setup your apache or nginx server.
