Facebook has introduced 2 mini Facebook Messenger games that you might never know existed if not told.

You can now play Chess and Basketball mini games with your friends on Facebook Messenger app, and here is how to activate the games.

If you want to play the Facebook Mini Chess game with a friend, simply open up a chat conversation with the friend you will love to play with and send “@fbchess play” without the quotations to start up the game.

To get help on how to play and navigate around the game, send “@fbchess help”

Now, Facebook has again added another new hidden Mini game that you can play and have fun with your friend.

This time around it is Basketball mini game done in honour of the March Madness basketball tournament.

To play the hidden Basketball mini game with friend is easy; all you need to do in order to play the mini basketball game is to open up a conversation with a friend and send the basketball emoji and finally tap on the sent basketball emoji to start up the game.
