He is having a tough time writing and I don't know why. He speaks more now but he is not able to form his own sentences yet. I have stopped therapy and I am trying to teach him things myself. 2 Likes |

He has started greeting and going to toilet on his own. We have stopped therapy and want to watch him for a while before we know if we can continue or stop and manage him on our own. Now he repeats words after people. We are try stop him from immitating words. Hopefully we can do it in our own. |

This is for all parents going through the same issue. I started therapy for him 7 months ago and we have made significant progress. He now asks for things and says bye bye and welcome. Although it's still work in progress, it's better than not saying anything at all. |

LagosLMIS: The Lagos State Government through the Lagos State Employment Trust Funds (LSETF) is introducing a labour market information system (LMIS) that will provide students with up-to-date information on the skills that are in demand in the local labor market. We would like students studying courses related to Construction, Creative and Technology in any of the tertiary institutions in Lagos . Kindly fill the survey below;
https://www.research.net/r/RFHPQW6
Your participation in this survey will be very much appreciated and your responses will be kept confidential. The survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
Thank you in advance for your time and assistance. Your input is greatly appreciated.
Kindly assist in taking out time to fill this survey, your input will be well appreciated. For those that fill the survey, you will have access to the LMIS portal and opportunity to meet potential employers
PS: Only Lagos State Residents should fill this survey. Few things wrong with this post First if your target is Lagos state students you would have gone to LASU, unilag, laspotech or iyabatech. Secondly the account was created just over a month ago in December. Did this initiative just start? Thirdly you have posted only this same advert in careers, job & vacancies, and even politics section. Lastly, the only thing that connects it to Lagos state it's because you said so, no evidence to back up the claim. My opinion is that you are using this to get people's contact for a personal purpose and it's working that's why you keep posting it everywhere postable. 7 Likes |

Even if you eat sleep, breathe French you cannot go from beginner to the level you need to ace TEF in 6months but you can go very far. If you dedicate your time and yourself, I don’t mean 3 hours or study per day. I mean immersing yourself in the language, listen to French music, listen to podcasts while you go to work, listen to french news. Basically live your life in French. And then do a preparatory Class for TEF You can do it in 8/9 months. That’s what I did. TEF is nothing like DALF, don’t be deceived. It’s more like TCF although I heard TCF if slightly easier. If you want to start, start now. Please do you have to ace TEF. I thought getting to B2 level will give you 50 points, which i think is enough to add to the marks you already have or am i wrong? |

Is he your first and how often does he get to play with kids of his age outside of school environment where they could always be shuushed by teachers and all?
I'm asking cos we suffered the same not knowing loneliness was killing my 2 yr old plus.Just taking him for holidays at my moms where kids still converge to play solved it. First he started stuttering and in less than 2 weeks words were pouring. Today I beg him to close his mouth and learnt to incorporate playtime which really changed him. All these ''always''indoors are not helping some of them.
Yes he is my first. I try to give him playtime and drop him with kids and he will start school next month. I am just hoping and praying he talks very soon. Thanks |

jedisco: Finally, regarding protecting profits, I always aim to have some fiat at most times....
Nothing is fixed and sometimes, one has to join a moving bus... But my ideal situation would be to divide my portfolio into 5 parts... One part is likely to remain mainly in cash except in extremes...
The remaining four parts is split between selected coyns...
Once I sell a coyn for profit, part of that profit is moved out...... Or locked in savings or staked... No matter what (except in extremes), new capital would not be deployed on a crazy green day... I'd rather deploy it at majors on a red (on support) on a red week
I trade size and I'm not in a hurry to multiply my account size... I'm more interested in protecting my capital.. I already know how much capital I've deployed... When I move a good chunk all out in profit, I can then start looking at how to multiply the rest..
Like I say, na my plan be this Wouldn't it be the best option to just put money in savings ? Since guaranteed capital is what you want. 1 Like |

Hello mama, Did you get a speech therapist for your son?... Can we talk please? Hello I have replied your email. I didn't because my husband doesn't support it. Although I'm still trying to convince him. My Dad said he had speech delay so I am just hoping that's the case and nothing else. |

Yes. He’s had his cut already. Plus he already was on his way talking at 1.3-1.5years. He could say almost anything you tell him clearly. He just suddenly regressed after I came home from the hospital with DD. Hello I am also going through the same thing my son is 2years2minths and he is yet to speak. I had a hearing test done and the result said everything is fine with his hearing ( I was sure he hears well but I did it, just to rule it out and be very sure). The doctor suggested a speech therapy and that he just gas speech delays. Try and get the test done to be sure its not a problem. We keep praying and hoping we pass this phase. Just wanted to let you know. You are not alone. Take care. 2 Likes |

Islam for Muslims / Re: Things You Shouldn't Do During Ramadan by 2funkyy(f): 11:12am On Apr 16, 2021 |
shevi4mb: THINGS YOU SHOULDN'T DO DURING RAMADAN:
Assalam alaikun Muslim Brothers and Sisters!!! 1. TOO EARLY : don't eat too early your Sahur befor Fajr prayer, the prophet instructed us to delay our sahur to few minutes to Fajr prayer, stop forming Jagaban
2. FEAST INSTEAD OF FAST : We pack food like there's going to be famine the following months... this is not good. We are to share our foods and feed the poor, while maintaining a simple and healthy way of eating.
3. TOO LATE : Some muslims delay their iftar, I don't know what they want to claim tho, but the Prophet SAW encouraged us to be haste at breaking our fast and abstain from delaying like you're the holiest of the Holiest
4. IFTAR PARTY : just like organising Dinner party back then in school, we all know we end up doing other things other than just taking dinner
5. FAST AND FURIOUS: Please, in as much as its encouraged and obligatory and an act that God himself will reward you...its a personal thing, so please, stop acting up and charging at ppl like Bulldogs all in the name of "i'm fasting", you don't expect everyone to be fasting like you and nobody forced you bro....so keep calm!
6.MISPLACED PRIORITIES : it has become a norm for some ppl to only pray tarawih(Asham) during Ramadan; the mosque is now so fully packed that ppl have to even pray outside the mosque. That's when you'll see ppl that have never stepped into a mosque since last year, with their pure white Jalamia, well, ♂️ the issue is, while its a Good thing To pray Asham in congregation, Asham is not compulsory Oga... the 5 Obligatory prayers have been and will always be important than the optional prayers which includes Asham
7. ADDICTION TO SOCIAL MEDIA OR WATCHING FILMS : Please, there's really nothing bad in using your phone while fasting, but please be careful while you do that. Most of these films or statuses et al, have in one way or the other imbibed forbidden scenes that you might not be prepared to see. Trust me, no matter how careful you'd want to be, you'l just jam one. Hmmm, make God accept our fasting oooo
8. TOO FAST LIKE FAST FORWARD MACHINE : Many muslims strive to finish reciting the whole Quran before the end of Ramadan. While this is a great achievement, we need to consider the verses and ponder over each of its meanings not reciting like an el-classico spanish commentator . we are gradually losing the spirit of Ramadan, and the Imams should take note pls.
9. BAD HYGIENE : Hmmm, brothers and sisters in Islam, while fasting, please brush your teeth regularly, please, stop spitting around like a pregnant woman, no one said you can't swallow your saliva....please don't be so hard on yourself. I beg you, don't listen to some fanatics with absurd theories. Don't cause another global warming during this Ramadan period. Take care of yourself please, Na fast you dey fast, you no turn deaf and dumb.
10. NIGHT OWL : Those ppl that become irumole during the month of Ramadan , they turn day to night and night to day. Please stop it. There's nothing wrong in sleeping during the day, but do not exaggerate, because, when you sleep all day, you'll be missing out many activities that'll benefit you while fasting. By turning night to day, the whole purpose of fasting is ignored.
Ramadan Kareem !!! Jazakumllahi Khairan. Lovely Write Up. Wish our Muslim Ummah would lighten up a little by not take things too serious and making Islam look too hard to Practice. 1 Like |
