Yep. They are spirits. And that's why people who do it try hard on their own to stop it and can't till they give up and assume its their lifestyle. That's because those forces are stronger than them. And they need higher powers(not by their own efforts) to break free.
Meanwhile,sex is a means of a covenant. Nobody should enter into a sexual practice he doesn't want to live by cos once you do it,you have entered into a covenant with whatever is in the other person(which could be this spirit or promiscuity or whatever the other caries)

it cannot be ruled out....how come they are almost always caught during a secret wedding in Kano or Abuja or caught in d middle of a steamy sex session in the South? demonic possession cannot be ruled out

And its by deliverance by a deliverance minister of God(those equipped by God to break the holds and chains of demons over lives) and ,not just any pastor. Once this is thoroughly done,nature abhors vaccum,you fill it with the spirit of God which comes by genuine quest for a personal relationship with God.

I dont think so: if you assume that there are malevolent demons at work in gay dudes,then you must conclude the same for heterosexual people,or are you suggesting that conventional heterosexuals are inhabited by angels?.Lets us beware of heresy.
