JennyNwa22: This man only want to make it to the news . He's talking trash . Maybe the state governor would have invited him but not the president . There r other pressing issues . He did well getting that result and we know that but at this stage the result is gis personal achievement because he hasn't made an impact to the society at large . If every body that's outstanding in their field get to meet the president he won't even have times for national issues 5 Likes |

Chommieblaq: You don't understand my point too, I'm not against him being recognised but we have been on this recognition for over a month, even the bread seller they used as a yardstick for comparison has moved on... he seems to be hanging around for hand outs, his body language and projection seems to say so... for him to succeed, he must understand that this is just the beginning, he should push applications, apply for good jobs... if he had done that and put it in the media, I wont be annoyed... but what did they do? He's now a mascot used to score political and other points... I hope he gets it and moves on quickly before the hype is gone... people have short memories, especially important people |

Even Gov Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State wey be show man no grasp this opportunity? If na to attack PMB Fayose for don do am since 1960. They will all start competing to reward Dada after this write up. The Minister of Education should hid his face in shame for this attitude of not rewarding or encouraging Excellency. Thank God for our House of Representatives who are out to give him special recognition. Any person who made First Class in Nigerian University will make 5.00 CGA in any part of the World let alone 5.00 in Nigeria. No wonder Dada has not been recognised. |

My people, let us spare the man pls, Buhari is old and he has already performed the function that has been assigned to him, to GET RID OF JONA. He is only going to be the President for a term, then Osinbajo/KACHIKWU will take over. |

Ridiculous. Is the President supposed to ogle and salivate at every brilliant student? How many people brilliant don help. The orgasm for paper qualifications and certificates is nauseating. With all NOI's paper Harvard brilliance and GEJ's PhD and the several doctors and professors from Ekiti and all over the country, an Andy Ubah, Femi Otedola, Dangote are still more useful to this country, and we hardly care what school or CGPA they obtained, not to mention course studied. 8 Likes |

Mr Azuka what is wrong with private organizations doing what u suggested Federal gov't should have done? Nigeria is one of the few countries where everything is Gov't.......Gov't.............and Gov't. U should have used this voluminous writing in calling on individuals and/or private organisations to act. Oh! I forgot.....it's Buhari one of the most hated presidents by ppl with the likes of ur name. Thank U! 6 Likes |

Your wife cook bad food, it is Buhari, your son failed exam it is buhari. It is becoming annoying. This is not the first time people are getting first class in Nigeria. My cousin got first class 3 years ago and uptill today he is still looking for a job. My son's physics lesson teacher has first class since 2 and half years ago and uptill today he has no job. |

Vecto: Lame post. Appreciate a genius when you see one. The guy deserves to be appreciated. S.0 CGPA na beans? Appreciating him will encourage students to be more focused on their studies and Nigeria may be able to boast of world class graduates not the dullards we have as graduates in almost every strata who have nearly ruined the country's economy because they lack the required level of intelligence to work efficiently but got the jobs via "back door" recruitment like the current CBN illegal recruitment. We need geniuses like Dada to help Nigeria grow. 3 Likes |

Its easy to identify a biafran writeup,of what relevant is the so called dada that his attention will be expedient to the president, afteral he has already been honoured by the institution which is a federal sch,he already has a certificate so he should look for job and contribute his quota to the society. |

I SMH when i see some of the replies to this thread. Anybody that has passed through the 4 walls of a university will understand that what this young man has achieved is no mean feat and hence must be celebrated because things Like this does not occur often. If you had not attended any tertiary institution you may be excused for thinking that having a CGPA of 5.0 is nothing. Not long ago somebody died and his children were given automatic jobs, I don't see why the same gesture cannot be extended to the young man. Other students are watching to see if indeed it is worth the stress to aim for such academic feat. Like the OP said it is not too late to do the needful. Let's celebrate Academic excellence because it is not easy. My 50 kobo. 3 Likes |

dumodust: Bros, I've been going through your posts and they're not making any sense to me. First, how sure are you that the dude is not a hustler as you painted in your first post? Second, has it ever occur to you that not all hustler are successful despite giving everything they've got? Life circumstances varies from one individual to another, in Nigeria here, people sieze any slightest opportunity to make it. Hard work can never be ruled out but we dare not assume its a benchmark for harnessing success, its just a stepping stone toward becoming great. Instead of crucifying the guy for what the media propagates, why don't you carry out a research work and tell us your findings about him. That the guy use the media to his advantage is part of hustling. Debunk me if you wouldn't do same, if found in his shoes. 4 Likes 1 Share |

You talk as if the jobs are that easy to come by in Nigeria, I know of a 1st class graduate who was home for six years b4 getting a job and someone who finished with a pass after 3 extra years in university and got a job immediately. Nigeria reeks of corruption so quit saying Dada needs to go get himself a job like its that easy. 1 Like |

Jimi23: That's the point exactly, its not easy... so how does this parade end well for him? That's my question... him not others. He needs to start moving on his advantage not these opportunists trying to score cheap points that are goading him along... the best way to use the current media hype is to use the wave to 'get signed' and get paid like the bread seller... this media mascot series wont do him any good, the buhari's, arase's and children of other elites will still get the jobs in the end anyway so no point whining... just hustle your best and keep it moving outside the noise 1 Like |
