Breaking: DSS Releases Ekiti Lawmaker, Hospitalised by gateleo(m): 9:51pm On Mar 22, 2016
Ekiti Lawmaker, Afolabi Akanni, who has been in detention at the Department of State Services facilities, was released Tuesday evening. Vanguard gathered that Akanni is now admitted at a private hospital in Abuja.

The Lawmaker who was very weak and could barely speak when Vanguard visited him at the hospital kept repeating; “I am not well. I am sick. I am sick,” when Vanguard sought to speak with him. Member of the House of Assembly, representing Efon Constituency, Hon. Afolabi Akanni. He said he was treated for malaria at the DSS detention facility after he collapsed twice..

He said his release may not be unconnected with his deteriorating health, adding that he was not told why he was held.

This country... He was not told why he was held...they've given him some psychology to return. Mosquitoes has finished the guy. Its not easy to be in opposition
