The Nigeria Police Force will subject successful candidates in the ongoing recruitment exercise to compulsory polygraph test (lie detector Test) this test will be in addition to the general background check, biometrics, medical, physical examination, aptitude, oral and psychological tests. The Police will also conduct a thorough verification of all documents submitted by prospective candidates.



The Inspector General of Police IGP Ibrahim K. Idris gave this directive while reviewing the recruitment exercise so far and expressed satisfaction with the progress made in recruiting Ten thousand personnel into the Nigeria Police Force. The IGP said that no candidate will be admitted for training at the Police academy and colleges without undergoing these prescribed tests.


The Polygraph test is aimed at ensuring that candidates are not of questionable character and their behaviours conform with standard rules of behaviour expected of an officer to be recruited into the Force.


The Police Academy and other training Colleges across the country will be equipped to carry out the necessary tests.
The Nigeria Police Force is determined to ensure that the current recruitment exercise conform to acceptable standards necessary for an ideal Police officer the Nigerian people deserve.

Some folks are just here to confuse and ignite fear in others. There's no way those with (35)70% won't make it to the next stage let alone people with 40... Please let's try and be optimistic. This is not the last stage

I think the stages is getting too much, too much is at stake, time, money, risk of accidents, armed robbery attack! I would prefer they use between 90 and 95 percent, that way those going to the next stage have better chances and others can go and get busy with something else.

I must say that I found it quite surprising that people could argue this question,a dictionary or google can easily bail you out,a direct comparison of things is Metaphor,an indirect comparison of things is simile,Personification is giving animate qualities to inanimate object e.g The cloud is pregnant.

I think your question is, 'if one of your guarantors has an ID and the other doesn't " if there is a problem?

yes, my friend was invited for the test and he used primary school testimonial.

For the fact that he/she never wrote the exam ,tell that person not to bother cos they will call them in with the master list with them.

Don't go there with a testimonial pls go with your FSLC because they are looking for all possible way to drop people. Some people might have go there with their testimonial but that shouldn't serve as a reason for you because they might be lucky and scaled so pls try and get it, is not even difficult for you to get it

its possible to travel to anywhere in Nigeria as far as u are a Nigerian.
I lady came to my centre in Bayelsa state without a mail and they called the names one after the other and her name was not there.
it was really embarrassing to me.
just try any way. if u can face the embarrassment if ur name wasn't called, you can give it a try. there was also a guy in my centre that didn't come for the first screening and was sent a success mail to come for the test.

........d question didn't tell us what to compare ..... it says direct comparison and transfer of quality unto another...... smile,metaphor,personification deals with comparison..... and also know that personification is another form of metaphor that has to do with transfer of quality.... to me.... personification is the answer
