Ondo state an oil producing state owes 3 months salary.

Bayelsa, another oil producing state just got bailed out

Kogi is a mess

Imo is *sighs*

Yet Osun which collects "6 million" in federal allocation started paying salaries for January on monday meaning they owe just 2 months unlike 7-8 months some months ago and yet their federal allocation has not been increased.

I think we need to look at Osun beyong its allocation and ask how the government there has cut down the salary owed workers in yhe face of dwindling finances because in that amswer we will find out how Osun intends to finance a budget of 150 billion

Of course this message will be lost

Humans in those various states should hold their leaders accountable and demand they deliver. No excuses are tenable.

Please on what basis are this allocated revenue shared? Fayose will have more work to do now, all those ponmo cutting, amala buka eating and incessant rants should be reduce and all effort should now be based on how to increase the state IGR.

Those figures there does not really represent allocation from FG for instance cross river state budget has doubled this year because they intend to collaborate with world bank in terms of funding. while states like akwa ibom, rivers n delta will to a greater extent depend on FG revenue, Lagos is depending on their IGR for funding and a little borrowing alongside FG allocation. my point is different states have their plans in funding their budget. If your plan is not concrete then the budget will not be realistic.

Ekiti with the lowest budget in the country? Lol ..Ekiti a 100% Civil servant state and have got a very low IGR and lot of problems at hand, Yet, their Governor will be running his mouth like a tap against PMB. Smbody should just tell him to shut up and try to improve the standard of living of the Ekiti people.

The more u look, the less you see. Enugu generates about a third of its revenue through IGR, Anambra's budget is relatively small yet its accomplishments is far greater than those whose budgets are double. Desert states with little or no IGR/productivity are fraudulently given more allocation based on !diotic landmass, does Chad's large desert wasteland make it more productive than Equatorial Guinea. Aregberascal must have a money minting machine somewhere in Oshogbo or he must be operating some sort of voodoo economics. Abia & Anambra are performing below optimal levels in terms of IGR, if Enugu & Ebonyi can generate close to 20 billion naira in IGR annualy, then they should be getting double of that amount considering the level of commerce & industry activity in those states.

Typical eboe man, he will never ask about his governor since he is thinking of escaping to any SW or Northern state for survival. What a shame.
