I don't do personal insults or invectives on this forum, but I am gonna make an exception for you. Your generation will fail for wishing this Nation evil. The scripture u believe admonishes followers to respect and support their leaders; U are a very stupid person for resorting to 'fasting and praying' against the success of the president. What exactly has he done against you, or your family to warrant such hatred? Because he's a Muslim? He has only been dre for 10 months; So, the man who made a mess for 6 years should get a free pass because he's a Christian? Again, you and your ilk will not partake in the good fruits in any period of the next four years. Because you have failed to support in trying times, when the good times come, and as God liveth they surely will, you will not reap of any positive thing thereof.

In your imbecilic mind, a law professor can not head an economic recovery team right? And you think Denmark is the happiest nation simply because it's a 'christian' nation?
I have read some utmost senseless comments here on nairaland but yours by far is the most vexatious.

I say Amen to your prayer for that reprobate.

"You contributed nothing to that summit other than being a yeoman. I listened to the contributions of Anambra nd Zamfara governors nd I was impressed. Your party could not even nominate you to speak for them because you're an empty-headed governor. Continue abusing Buhari, all I know is that nothing will make you smell Aso Rock in your lifetime. Oloriburuku omo ale."

My dear nairalanders I will keep on asking when will we stop been fooled by this politicians, who are using us to make political stunt everyday, in as much as I agree with fayose on many things I disagree on this (1) he was present or represented by his deputy when the decision was made to hold the economic summit he did not raise this objection then (2) he attended an received the bonuses and benefit meant for his state (3) he was called their like others to give his own view and come out with a way our not to come out here and be forming Mr righteous for and be blaming Fayemi who is highly educated @fayose Pls criticise this government constructively not like a tout.

God bless you for this. I would have thought he didn't even go. He was there and he didn't say a word, didn't raise any objections. This is how you'll know he's just an empty drum. From his ranting, you'll have thought if he got to see Buhari, he'll be bold and criticize him. Toothless mongrel!! Then the receipt of the retreat must have been passed to Ekiti state or how else is he so sure about how much was spent. Where's his proof.

retreat or summit is a forum/discussion not a lecture, so irrespective of whatever pmb or apc says, he is there to talk about how to lift the nation, his state inclusive, out of economic crisis, except the crunch is not affecting him, if that's the case, then he wasted ekiti state commonwealth on frivolous journey.
Talking at the summit is everyone's right not a privilege.

I will embark on prayer and fasting against this summit. At the end there will be no solution to the economy crisis rocking the country under an Islamist dictator.
We don't need the courageous governor to tell any discerning mind that it was a needless jamboree. Most of us, who commented on the communique equally said as much.
The mere fact that buhari has continued his penchant of forcing square pegs into round holes speaks volumes about our seriousness in revamping our economy. The two-day retreat came and gone without the participants brainstorming about the epileptic power supply in the country. No wonder at the end of the so called retreat, a law professor was appointed to head our economic recovery team. Buhari government as presently constituted is a big joke. Junaid yesterday called it government of incompetents.

Buhari must fail.

But are people really this daft?? How do you gain if your president fails?? Can you be a bigger supporter of Jonathan than people like Innoson and Ifeanyi Uba that was in charge of TAN? Yet those guys have moved on from the defeat and already positioning themselves to make money from this government. Already Innoson is providing parts for fighter jets. Ubah is still hustling to get into the president's economic team, you're here praying for someone else to fall. The president will not fail but you'll fail since that's what you want. All the benefits that come out of this government you'll not see them because you want them to fail anyway. Where people are succeeding from this government's successes you'll fail because you want them to fail. This country under Buhari will move forward and leave you behind because well that's what you're praying for. Because you want to come on nairaland and say "I told you so" you're swearing for yourself... nitwit!!!

As a participant, he should have come up with bright ideas on how to turn around the economy. But as they say, empty vessels make the loudest noise. He has no single idea on how to make things work. He is owing state workers 4 months salary now and all he does is criticise the president. He's just a very shallow guy who is trying to mask his failure with the constant criticism of the president.
