Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by udemzyudex(m): 11:32pm On Nov 14, 2020 |
David160: First of all see if ur laptop is detecting HDD, power it on and immediately click the f9 key. You will see the list of boot options, if your hdd is detected you will see it there, after that all you need to do is install an operating system. |

Need help, please. It happened that I'd left my laptop on hibernate mood for long. The last two days I used it, I didn't turn it off. I just hibernated it. Well, I was using it this evening. I connected to the internet via my phone's Hotspot. After less than ten minutes, the system froze. It was like that for almost twenty minutes. I had to press the power button to turn it off. Now, the problem is that the keyboard and mouse are no more working. I could only gain access to the laptop using an external mouse. Please, what can I do to restore my laptop. It's windows 10, by the way. Thanks, in anticipation |

pabon:Can you reboot from a restore point let's see how it goes? |
Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by pabon(m): 9:26pm On Nov 15, 2020 |
Benjaniblinks: Okay. How do I go about it? |
Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by Benjaniblinks(m): 9:28pm On Nov 15, 2020 |
pabon:Since you have access to a external keyboard press the Windows key, type Restore and press Enter. Using TAB, select Open System Restore Press Enter to move forward by selecting the recommended restore point. To confirm the recovery point, select Finish and press enter. Windows will restore the system to the state it was in before the selected date. The process may take a long time to complete, so wait for the PC to restart and check if the operation was successful. If System Restore fails, you can repeat the steps again by choosing a different Restore Point. |
