when you took the laptop for the repair, did they tampered with the operating system originally there before, like did a reinstall of a new windows Os for you ? If they do this, they probably might not have installed the graphics or display driver, and some other chipset that is what is limiting you from playing the games that was once playable before.

They didn't tamper with the windows OS. I will take it back to the Lenovo service center though. I am guessing a hardware issue because they changed the keyboard.

I will take it back to them so they get it done. I have the proofs of the previous games working fine.

it could be what is causing the poor and slow performances, if they don't replace the keyboard with the original replacement parts from Lenovo, not third-party replacement. I learned Lenovo used to selects parts.

okay, I may have gotten it wrong, but still, you don't have a dedicated card for gaming. So it's not just about the CPU. If I may ask, which games are you trying to play?, you can check your heat sink and reapply thermal paste to your CPU fan

just confirm if it's the keyboard first. The best way you can do it, is to loosen the laptop then disconnect the internal keyboard, plug in an external keyboard and check if it still lags, if it does, then they tampered with your CPU cooling or thermal paste.

I play GTA V, FIFA 19, Pes 2021 perfectly on the pc before the repair. No lag atall.

just confirm if it's the keyboard first. The best way you can do it, is to loosen the laptop then disconnect the internal keyboard, plug in an external keyboard and check if it still lags, if it does, then they tampered with your CPU cooling or thermal paste.

I will take it back to them. Not loosening it since warranty is still there.

most people has had wrong assumptions about integrated graphics over the time, there have been improvements over time with intel with newer released models, it is now on par or even greater than older radeon graphics or entry ones. integrated graphics is not as worse as most people claim, it has been improved and can play most decent games fluently coupled with a powerful processor

perhaps very old readon grpahics card. Intel iris xe graphics is only good on low setting at 720p. Which is wack. Imagine connecting that to a high monitor.

gta V is an old game, and should play on your PC with no lag. So I guess, it can only be a bottleneck. Download Msi Afterburner and check your fps and scan for errors. Run your fan etc. Troubleshoot first before taking it back, it could be a minor issue which they can take advantage and charge your more. I'll recommend deleting your current graphics driver.

I am not paying for repair or anything. I still have 10months warranty left. I will download the msi after burner and try troubleshoot.

I use the Xbox gamebar to check the FPS and it's starts well like in FIFA 19. It starts at 60 then goes all the way to zero immediately it gets to that training session

the system specs is a low cost Amd processor with onboard graphics memory integrated to it, and underclocke processor speed to save power, having a better battery backup. You shouldn't expect too much performance speed from it, if you want to improve the speed and multitasking, upgrade the RAM to 6gb or 8gb and a good 500gb or 1tb Hard disk.

After checking, I then removed the two ram stick to check it out, so I decided to clean the connecting mouth of the two rams before inserting it back. Put it on and everything started working fine.

you just did a little servicing to your laptop, by removing and cleaning the ram modules of dust and dirt, so its expected to improve in performance. imagine the improve in performance if you did the entire laptop servicing, cleaning the dust from the motherboard and blowing the fan of dust to prevent heating.
