Yes, your modem's manufacturer's website..tho there can be a lot wrong...try to install it on another system probably runing on a different Operation system (e.g if you have windows 7 try it on windows xp or vista)

ukachimo: Yes the MegaTrend BIOs motherboard pc seem not to recorganize the boot records created by the Compaq Motherboad pc obviously l think because their file format is not the same (NTFS/FAT files format). and select properties and there will be a number in the box, i.e., code 10.

I would also advice that you follow adewasko previous suggestion to try
the usb modem on another computer. This is called process of elimination

Just goto any reputable retailer! From my personal observation; don't buy any HP adapter that has light indicator.

as a computer technician, I would advice you
take the laptop with you and try the charger with it
and then look for hp support, then power management or
thermal. if you were unable to find it, visit google prior
to taking there download hp battery test and make sure
the charger is plug in to the elect..cource and the laptop
the run the test. it must pass the test. no unknown message

Connect the usb to the printewr and make sure it's on before you start the installation. That should suffice for now.

i have downloaded bluestack and its about 128mb. When i was trying to install it, it was saying 1gb of physical memory needed but i have about 1.9gb remaining on my C drive, what can i do

I thought there is command prompt method of solving this problem or a way updating or installing a BIOS on a system which l do not know, because formatting is not an option for me, it will defeat the purpose of my exploit.

select last known good config and press enter
if no joy select safe mode and press enter

dont panic your icons will be bigger and
lots of txt on screen, that's is normal.

once in safe mode
click start , all progra...accesso...
system tools and systsem restore
select a date, i.e, 3 days ago and continue with system
restore.

if no joy f8 again select repair ur computer
follow the instructions

Your video memory is not low! Your PC uses a dynamic video memory and not a dedicated one. That is..if a program requires a video memory of 1G your PC will allocate that. So the 64MB is the minimum video memory and not just the video memory! To confirm try to increase the performance of your PC and go check the size of the video memory again,,,,you will see it will have increased! But yea...such a system is not meant for gaming and other high programs! Like PES will not work fine normally on it without a little tweak. Most HP comes with such and a graphic card: HD-graphics

Tnx for d above. Didn't solve my prob though, had to take it out to specialists who told me it had bn corrupted! They r suggesting changing frm vista to windows 7. I hope they get it right. Thank you once again

Restart pls
then press f2
until you
see bios
go to diagnostics
run the hard drive test
long one preferably

it would either passed or failed

if no joy we could
try f8 on start up
and choose safe mode then
check on google how to
do system restore if no joy
f8 again and click repair your
computer, if any.

MY LAPTOP TAKES A LOT OF TIME TO BOOT;WHEN BROWSING ALL THE TIME WITH MOZILLA, IT WILL HANG SAYING NOT RESPONDING..INFACT EVERYTHING IS GENERALLY SLOW..I DELETED ALL MY MOVIES AND IT IS STILL SLOW..PLS HELP
