abariko1: Well, sounds like the PC u bought z fairly used as all Newly made laptops either come wv the OS Installation CDs(whch includes the license key) OR a sticker beneath the lappy lyk u said. Solutions are 'U eida get the License key(prob. frm whom u bought it frm)' or re-install the OS using an0da CD dat has a license key. It all boils down to U getting a valid license key and to0 bad its not meant to be disclosed here, By 2ma0, ur screen wil prob. go blank and u start gettin d notif 'This version of the Windows OS aint Genuine', after smtym, some appli. stops working e.g. Windows Media Player, Just get the CD, If u stay in Lasgidi, U can visit Otigba (tho thts software piracy). For the Avast, U can download the 1-yr AvastPro here http://www.avast.com/pro-antivirus#tab4 |

Cupidkc on August 02, 2010 Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for the above enquiry and do appreciate your explanations. Here's an explanation to this behaviour. when a computer is powered on it check all components before booting past the ESC F2 screen. if one or more is defective the computer will stuck and unable to move forward. Here's is your diagnostics in narrowing down the cause. take battery+ charger out + any other devices such as USB etc. hold down the laptop power button for 30 seconds let go connect only charger and power on keep pressing f2 for Bios and see if will get to bios. Check to make sure keyboard light is on. check the CD/DVD drive for any cd/floppy disk Would you specify make and model of your machine and operating system type. Good luck |

abariko1 (m) Dear abariko1, Thank you for the above and would like to refer to Slyr0x advice as very good. We all understand how frustrated you are and would try to make some difference. However like the previous technician as mentioned we are not allowed to give keys. Microsoft has found a way round it and adivices to do the below in bold to increase the days to 3 or more until you find a solution to the problem. Here's your diagnostics sir. click start > run and a box comes up type in there cmd right click on it and run as an administrator a black pops type in slmgr -rearm press enter, at this point a message will confirm all successful. restart your computer not shutdown. the days should have increased by 2 or more. This command only works once until you buy a copy of windows. To permamently activate windows take it to a shop as there are professional just like the way you would go and see a doctor. Any activiation or whatever go the shop as there's little we can do On behalf of my colleagues wish you good luck.

Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by deji2009(m): 8:10pm On Aug 09, 2010 |
high-high: Thank you for the above enquiry. what's make and model of your machine and operating system type ? e.g. Windows Vista, XP, 7. Knowing this would certainly help us to narrow down the cause. Did you use the same adobe with a different computer ? If so, does the lines appear again ? denzel2009: I very much agree. Like my colleague has said check to make sure you're not using a trial version. answer the above question in deter ming if this a trial or not. furthermore we would like to check if you're using the lastest version of adobe, to check this click help>about adoabe This would tell us the version you're using as this might be outdated. Furthermore i would like to include this diagnostics from another site. http://forums.adobe.com/thread/329120 Please note this not my diagnostics however i do recommend it based on the enquiry you log. Please take time to read carefully These lines are called stitching (there's tons of discussion here about that if you search for the term). They usually only show up in low resolution (desktop) printing, and occasionally on screen in a flattened PDF. You might want to try exporting a Press Quality PDF (to keep the transparency live in Acrobat) and printing the PDF. You may find something useful in one of these articles as well: http://indesignsecrets.com/eliminating-the-white-box-effect.php Good luck |

phemmy88: Level: Advance we cannot be held for any mistakes ! Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for the above enquiry and i regret to let you know the problem you've log is advance and would need a technician present in other to carryout the steps. To back this up please click http://www.computing.net/answers/windows-2000/how-to-disable-dual-boot-option/59771.html regarding another user in the same situation. to do this by yourself In Vista, here are the steps Click start and type MSconfig and hit enter. system Configuration will start up. On the Boot tab Make sure Vista is set for default then select the XP startup line and click Delete. Then Click OK to close. It will then be gone! Good luck |
