Agriculture is really a viable business, but all through my experience I've find it difficult to cultivate apple in our nigerian soil. Pls experts in the house help us out with your opinions

it's not the soil, it's the climate. Nigerian climate is tropical. apples grows well in temperate climates. places like plateau state and taraba state which somehow has a temperate climate might favor apple farming.

I Dont think it has anything to do with the temperate or tropical region. It depend on the methods of planting the OP is using. If you are using the seed you found in the Apple fruit. you are just wasting your time, cos such is seeds are not viable. To plant it you need a seedling.
If you search Nairaland well you see a guy who got the seedling planted somewhere in Ondo state you can liase with him for how to get the seedling
