The only thing I can think of in the US is calamine lotion. You can buy it at walgreens or cvs. I am assuming you already saw a dr abi. Chicken pox can be serious in adults |

sorry to hear this, but here's what to do; isolate your self - you dont want anyother member of the family contractng it its a viral infection(varicella zoster) so there is practically no remedy for it, what you should have done is taken the vaccine, but at this stage just let it be. try getting antihistamine's to ease the itching. as said before get calamine lotion. DO NOT scratch it. if itch is serious use a brush to rub over it but not with your fingers. |

blackspade: ndo oo, ma darl, . . .but why are u getting urs now?? i mean i had mines when i was little, I guess different strokes for different folks. . . . . .have u been to the Doc yet ?? If u haven't pls do so, but in the mean time, try not to scratch those bumps, so it doesn't spread, and also to prevent severe scarring as well, I also heard using an oatmeal based body wash provides a calming and soothing effect, (Aveeno is a good brand) And also calamine lotion helps too, its stinky and it smears all over the place too, but it really does help Hope u feel better soon dear! |
