It was a sad week for the Nigerian music industry as it lost one of its own, Nomoreloss on Monday, March 21. However, despite the sad start to the week, we still had the music. Check out some of the best music videos released last week.

We wonder when the YBNL boss, Olamide, will rest. He has got no chill when it comes to putting out content for the fans. Just a week after dropping the single to mark his birthday, he followed it up swiftly with the video. He made it strictly ibile (local), shooting in the ancient city of Abeokuta where we catch a glimpse of the famous Olumo Rock. You can’t underestimate the aesthetics of the Adasa Cookey-directed video.

2. Wande Coal – Superwoman

Black Diamond boss, Wande Coal, has never denied his love for women. He is so good at praising them. Well, he’s got the voice that can soothe anyone. He dropped a steamy video Superwoman, a track off his latest album, Wanted.
The video depicts a man who would do anything for his woman. You would love this video directed by Moe Musa.

3. Yemi Alade featuring Jeff – Kissing (remix)

Yemi Alade remixes her huge hit Kissing for the umpteenth time. Previous remixes were with Tanzanian star Diamond and a French version with Marvin. This time Alade called on MTN Project Fame winner, Jeff, to jump on the DJ Coublon-produced beat. Although, this version didn’t feature on her Mama Africa album, released on Friday, March 25, still she shot a video directed by Paul Gambit.

4. DJ Spinall featuring 2Baba & Wande Coal – Money

He has embarked on a tour of the UK but that didn’t stop DJ Spinall from releasing the video for his fan favourite Money featuring legendary 2Baba and Black Diamond, Wande Coal. The track is off his debut album, My Story.

5. Small Doctor featuring Olamide – You Know

Real Beat Planet star, Small Doctor, released the video to his latest single You Know featuring YBNL’s general, Olamide. The funny video, directed by Unlimited L.A. had a cameo from Pasuma.

6. Nomoreloss – Beautiful Things

The late Nomoreless did not leave without a song. Prior to his demise, he got a recording deal with Ayeesha Music. The record label released the video Beautiful Things earlier than the scheduled date.

The video for eccentric musician Terry G’s Shayo will take you down memory lane to old school dancehall music. The video was directed by Lucas Reid.

8. May D – I Wanna Know

Self-acclaimed Kennis Music No. 1, Joe-El Amadi had praises only for God in Gbemisoke, where he narrates the struggles of an average Nigerian. Paul Gambit directed the video.
