According to this article culled from today's Guardian, two different results ahve been accounced in Lagos. Looks like the fun and games have only just started:

A mild drama took place yesterday at the PDP secretariat over the party's gubernatorial primary in Lagos State as two different results came up. The national publicity secretary of the party, in a statement, said Senator Musiliu Obanikoro won the election. Odey also announced that Jonah Jang won the gubernatorial primary in Plateau State, Segun Oni in Ekiti, Arc. Namadi Sambo in Kaduna and Jibril Bala Alhassan in Niger.

A few hours after the chairman of the electoral panel that conducted the election in Lagos, Babatunde Ogundele brought another result, which confirmed the wife of the late Funso-Williams, Hilda, as the winner of the election. Odey said the party stood by the statement issued earlier.

Forget all that yarn, I said it b4 dat d woman was just being pushed into the whole shindig and wld eventually be given anoda post asides d govnorship. OBANIKORO HAS BEEN GIVEN THE GOVERNORSHIP SLOT BY OBJ AND D NEC OF PDP!!!!!!!

Though pdps chances in lagos originally is herculean but with a woman candidate it becomes near impossible a project.

the people's demolition party have decided otherwise. for today Obanikoro to go so who knows who will go tomorow so let nobody be surprised if i emerge tomorrow bcs am working on that.

in Abia, the winner Ugochukwu emerge out of a slight majority but Ararume could not be decleared winner in Imo state because he did not have upto 50% of the votes.

The drama just never ends with PDP!,even though it is a succesful political party going by election results, i think it is the worst party in the history of Nigeria!!!If they are presenting Hilda williams as their candidate for Lagos state, i dont wish them any success then.

seems she wants to join her husband too. thats a nice way of meeting up with him in enternity in the shortest way possible so let her ride on.
