Don't be silly, don't you realize these armed cattle rustlers are the criminal herdsmen that have been killing innocent people all over the country?

Doesn't it occur to you that these armed rustlers steal these cows and use them to disguise as Fulanis (herdsmen) in order to perpetrate their crimes?

How can the assumed rampaging, gun totting and matchete wielding Fulani herdsmen suddenly become so powerless that they are easily attacked and robbed of the cattle that they value so much? Where are the AK47'S and sharp machetes that they allegedly use to attack their victims? Did they suddenly disappear upon encountering the armed cow robbers? Since when did Fulani herdsmen decide to abandon their lucrative trade of providing meat, milk and leather for the nation in favor of killing and maiming innocent citizens?

The Army, FG and recently, even IPOB have revealed that the 'Fulani herdsmen' that have been accused of killings are actually BH terrorists and armed bandits in disguise.

If you still have not put the pieces together, the Army has just commenced the war against the armed bandits attacking Fulani herdsmen and stealing their cows in order to use as disguise to perpetrate their murderous terrorist agenda.

Perhaps if your read the article, and understand the difference between the murderous cattle rustlers (robbers) that were killed by the Army, and the Fulani herdsmen that are usually attacked by the rustlers and robbed of their cows, it would be easier to understand.

Conflicts between agrarian and pastoral/nomadic farmers is as old as time itself, partly because of encroachment on farms by the pastoralists.

That is the conflict he was referring to, not the murderous campaign of blood embarked on by the criminal bandits. Furthermore, the discovery of the disguise tactic was revealed by the Army almost a year ago so your assertion is completely baseless.

Troops of 1 Division Nigerian Army in conjunction with other security agencies within the last one week have recorded tremendous success in the fight against cattle rustling, armed banditry and criminality particularly in the north west under the auspices of Operation SHARAN DAJI.




In Kaduna State, the Division’s Internal Security Force (DISFORCE) has recovered 108 Livestock and killed 1 armed bandit and recovered 1 AK-47 Rifle and 30 rounds of 7.62mm (Special) ammunition.

In Zamfara State, which is 1 Brigade’s area of operation, the troops recovered 419 livestock and arrested 1 bandit and recovered a locally made pistol from him.

In Kano and Katsina States, 3 Brigade was also able to recover 677 livestock, destroyed 10 cattle rustlers and armed bandits camps and recovered 4 locally made pistols and 7 Dane guns. The troops also killed 4 cattle rustlers and arrested 14 other suspects.
