Aina is good but he shouldn't be starting ahead of Ehuehi and Awaziem abeg.

I will still repeat what I said. We need a proper midfielder apart from Iwobinwho can spray PENETRATIVE PASSES. we cant continue to wait for foreign borns. what happens if in the nations cup, Iwobi is tested positive again and we face an ultra defensive team? pls we need a midfielder who can spray those passes from the nigerian league, we cant wait for foreign borns na eg maja and co which have been taking time. Look nations cup and worldcup is next yr..few months away

Rarely will you find a national team side with player like nacho at the moment and not look for way to play him...

To play for Leicester and put up those goals within the space of two weeks is no fluke

Just that the players played with care and caution

4-4-2, never again ; limited Chukwueze, Onyekuru and tasked Ndidi and Aribo to being our only progressors because of one 'Seniorman'
It would have been potent if Seniorman been de run enter midfield.

I think its Rohr's tactics he acted out IMO

The NPFL is not ready yet

You watched the NPFL player that came in...you see how individualistic he played

This guys need to brushed up and thats not the national team coach job

Rohr invited both and monitored them in close quarter during training so there is no way ebuehi will be better than awaziem and Aina but was dropped.

Dude is too light weight wise for African footie. He is skillful on the ball and moves forward smoothly but not rugged enough for African jam body football

Go and watch Nigeria- Algeria match and realize you know nothing about Ebuehi, Aina was clearly in better form coming into this match but this match has exposed him once again like all his GWG matches

Well done boys. At least we are starting the year with a win. cheesy

A good game from what I have been reading.
Never got to see the game live. But I will definitely search for the replay of the full game and watch before giving my players' analysis.

I only care about him because he is playing for the super eagles. If not I don't care too.....

More like saying buhari does not care about me he is enjoying his administration
cut him some slack. he has shown that with enough minutes, he can be reliable.

The way we played looked like we were devoid of ideas. I am not sure if Rohr can lead us during World Cup qualification...

c'mon there is nothing special about that goal

My grand ma in her prime can score that goal

Respect your Granny mr. So, nothing special to be well positioned, jump high and place the ball away from the goalkeeper?

Sometimes you go just think people fit do pass dem mouth.

LOL that's why they have the CHAN

No thanks to Imama and his clueless bunch of players that wasted the opportunity set before them

Hope they qualify next time probably that will give us better opportunity to watch them play...the last time okputu and co made me laugh to stupor

Okpotu...also a good energetic player but needs brushing and does better as 8

It depends on a good day while playing an attackin minded formation aina is better but defensively Ebuehi is better

Just that Aina didn't come to the party tonight

It just looks like Aina didn't come to the party because he probably played to instructions. He didn't bomb foward a lot because Sanusi is doing so on the other side. From the match today, it seems Rohr gave Sanusi more license to go foward and understandably so, as he's the better attacker out of the two full backs.

that was the first point I made few minutes in the game. He was static and that made ndidi and aribo not to pass through the middle

Nobody seems to be talking about aribo second half performance...I felt there was a clear instruction from rohr to drive wit d ball forward and pass d ball more precision....dude was driving with d ball like a young yaya toure, really enjoyed his second half performance...

They had to be defence minded if they don't want to be skinned by a Nigerian side that can be very deadly if give an inch. Read between the lines , Shey PHD...LOL

Playing Benin Republic is like playing against Ghana. Both their built and style are very similar. They are playing against a Nigerian side that parades Osimhen, Chukwueze , Iheanacho and Onuachu....they needed to be cautious

Baba you just dey twist the subject matter you campared this team to naija not quite long come twist to Ghana
Every sane person here know say the team will be on ultra defense mode now we need to come out all attack and show creativity and score against this dude they re playing defensive game not with world class players like silva or Ramos ....a good amf like iwobi would have created alot of chance with defense splitting passes... No cap bro

But for Anayo he has what it takes to thrive in Africa football...all needs is some brushes here and there....he will thrive
