To complement Ndidi (Ndidi's stats in GREEN), this is what our midfielders bring STATISTICALLY, playing to their FULL potential for Super Eagles:

1st Photo. Expect Onyeka(BLUE) to give similar level of Creativity, Technicality (stats based on ability on the ball) and Attack. Onyeka is known to be a good presser at club level and can choke up the midfield of the opponent, this can potentially reduce the pressure on Ndidi, as Ndidi could focus more on his strengths, think tackles, interceptions etc (Defensive and Positional related stats).

2nd Photo. While Aribo(BLUE) will bring more to the table than Onyeka to compliment Ndidi, in creativity, attack and technique, He would do less to reduce the burden on Ndidi's defensively and tactically.

3rd Photo. Iwobi(BLUE) however offers about 10 points more in creativity, 10 points more in attack, and again 10 points more tecnhically compared to Ndidi. This is huge, compared to what Onyeka and Aribo (at par in attack) brings to compliment Ndidi.

4th Photo. Nwakali(BLUE) stands out technically. But he only leads Iwobi by a point.

5th. Ejaria(BLUE) only trails Nwakali by one point technically, but beats Nwakali by a couple points, a little more or less, in creativity and attack. This may be due to the former being deployed more upfront (winger).

My verdict, Iwobi, Onyeka and Ndidi will form the most balanced midfield.

TheLoneCitizen:
I find it hard to rate Iheanacho as a striker because of his propensity to drop deep, and the fact he struggles as a lone striker.

So rather than a out-and-out striker, I view him as a deep-lying forward/false 9.

Osimhen, Ejuke, Onyekuru, Onuachu, Iwobi, Sadiq Umar, Dessers.

Osimhen is a better striker.
Ejuke is a better winger.

But there is no nigerian player better than Iheanacho. World class.

Harry Kane drops deep a lot and Iheanacho has improved massively with his back to goal so I do believe he can play lone striker if asked.

This Bini Italian kid starts for Udinese against Sampdoria. Appears to be a left back but playing as a wing back today. We should keep an eye on him, just incase he blows! grin

Bros , the guy is an Italian and if he blows he will play for the country of his birth. Yes, Italians raised him and invested in his football growth. Why can't you guys develop your own system and players instead of being parasites. I hate people who want to reap where they didn't sow!

When it's all said and done, the player decides. He is italian born but he may also have stronger ties to Benin city, Nigeria than he does to his place of birth.

Hate is a strong word.

In this game particularly, Iheanacho had a non existent second half and it was either him or Vardy that had to make way

The manager of the @NGSuperEagles (and the technical staff that he pays from his pocket) are owed EIGHT months wages by @thenff. Just a thought, as we play another round of @roadto2022en @FIFAWorldCup qualifiers next week. #Nigeria is really a country...

Here we go again undecided
