Most of these formations u guys drop here are pleasant to d ears but most times doesn't happen or work in reality

It could b coach sha
It's without doubt the fault of the SE players. That's why you would see these same players performing wonders at their clubs but becomes cats when playing for the SE

What of the defence?

We don't have a good mix there
That's why I didn't bothered to mention our defence because their aren't WC players, save for Balogun whom I think is ahead of other defenders in the SE

If man U can call on a 36 year old ronaldo, whats wrong with calling ighalo

Do we actually have problem in attacking department? What effort has Rhor made in the AM position where we have issues? How many African teams has the quality of strikers we have in SE? Taking a wrong medication can only worsen a health situation.

You really spoke well bro. Kudos.

But don't you think sadiq should be in place of success?
Sadiq is good, I quite like him and Moffi a lot but you see that Success, if not that he became unserious and stardom climbed his head, coupled with countless injuries, Success would have been ahead of even Osimhen by now.

success had all it takes to be one of the best strikers out of Africa currently in Europe

Dude had it all but he was his biggest undoing with regards to his unserious lifestyle especially after joining watford from garanada

We need Mikel and Victor Moses more than we need ighali. In fact the fact that nnamdi ofirboh, nwakali, alhassan Yusuf etc who are natural midfielder s should play for us should be the major thing and not ighalo.
We need to beg Mikel obi badly.
As per Victor Moses at least Emmanuel Dennis, onyekuru and chidera ejuke are viable options but we need Mikel obi badly

I believe the reason many here don’t count sadiq as worthy enough for a chance in the current super eagles set up is because he is playing in the Spanish 2nd tier. My advise to them is to make out time one of the weekends to stream Almeria games to see him play

Sadiq umar I bet you guys will shock a lot when he makes the leap to the Spanish top flight and that will happen soon

I hardly hype players here but whenever I do there is something special about that player in particular

I will still take Amunike over Wenger because of he already has understanding of most of the players. Worked with the likes of Iheanacho, Awoniyi, Chidera Ejuke, Chukwueze, Osimhen, and others. He will have in-depth ideas on how to get the best from them, harness other talents and draft a progressive plan for the future.

Wenger will mean experimenting but Amunike already has ideas of the team. Remember they all used to camp together.

Also, he will share the philosophy of most coaches running the game today.

Amunike remains my pick.
You remember Siasia coaching the SE because most of the SE players then were his startug from U21 days? And how did it ender up? Not qualifying for ordinary Afcon. I fear same thing will happen with Amuneke and there is no way Amuneke won't have preference in selecting his SE team because 99.9 of indigenous coaches are either agents or have links to agents and would want to sell their players to the world, this is the same reason late Keshi took players like Uchebor and Nwafor to the WC.
I know what I am saying bro, I have once played for Bendel United before knee injury ended my career. I was playing for Bendel United when Siasia took Bendel insurance players like Daddy Bazuaye, Ambrose Vansenki and Monday James to the 2005 Fifa U20 world cup and when they retured they joined Ogbona Okemiri and Joseph Akpala in Bendel Insurance. Nigeria indigenous coaches, including Amuneke are damn so corrupt and his greed as time goes on will make him lose track of the team. Do you know that till this very moment most of Nigeria indigenous coaches are cultist and if you do not belong to a particular cult at the time the coach is there you won't make the coaches teams? A case study is Bendel Insurance.
That's why I mentioned Wenger and I think to a larger extent Wenger will be so conversant with African players, mostly Nigerian players because Wenger has always had interest in African players. And Amuneke can still learn a lot from Wenger, coupled with the fact that Wenger is an attacking minded coach just as Amuneke and do you know the pedigree it would bring to the SE and Nigeria having Wenger as the SE coach? So having Wenger will bring lot of positives to Nigeria both in sporting and business aspect. Also, Wenger can also uses his time as SE coaches to train and lecture interested indigenous coaches and when he is leaving maybe after 4 years, Amuneke can then takeover the reign of the SE

an experienced head like mike in the middle of the park with ndidi and iwobi in this current team will do wonders

This is looking like a repeat of the 1982 world cup when Nigeria recalled retired Chukwu and we failed to qualify eventually. Hoping this isn't deja vu?
God bless you...Libya Afcon 82...20 years old Stephen Keshi was sacrificed for old Christian Chuckwu who was recalled to the team and at the end he messed up.

Libya 82 remained our worst outing in Afcon history.

I repeat it nothing new Ighalo is bringing to the table and this decision tells me something is really wrong somewhere....haba with Osimehn,Taiwo,Sadiq,Onuachu,Moffi,Iheanacho and Rohr still believe it's Ighalo.

I'm beginning to understand $2m inserted in Rohr contract as termination benefit if he get sacked.

I hope Rohr end it well cos Nigerians will never forgive Pinnick.

According to stats, Southampton cannot lose this match, which would be something at Stamford Bridge.

Statistics telling me again today that Napoli cannot this match against Bologna.

They are 95% odds on to win.

amuneke should get busy by taking charge of one of the local clubs like finidi did few weeks ago or getting a job in the continent. Atleast good performances will make more case for him to get the nod when the fa needs a replacement for rohr

My fear is that our local coaches are corrupt to the extend it will be obvious to a novice

I know Success personally, though we weren't that closed, I actually knew him through a very close friend or his then who happens to also be my close buddy. Success and the guy played at BJ, he was senior to Success at BJ, so I won't dispute what you just said about Success because we all that knows him personally always talk about him being his own downfall and undoing and at a time I totally lost hope on him. But you see the rejuvenation of Awoniyi? It has given me hope again about Success but only if he has accepted his mistakes and choose to work hard going forward. I am so sure Success scoring 12-15 goals maybe next season in any club will start bringing the belief he had for himself and we had on him again, just like Awoniyi is already doing this season. And don't forget Success was the one rightfully benching Awoniyi in that their U17 team

going to the u17 world that year success was the poster boy of the team and was the first to sign a pro deal with udinese

He was already known to a lot of scouts and was even tipped to be the arrow head of the team but during the competition proper he got injured in the teams 2nd or 3rd group game if am correct which made way for awo to shine

Even the few games he played for the team in the competition he was class above his mates and unplayable as well. He had it all

At the afcon u17 competition he was the teams main man and best player

Saw him play yesterday, he still have the touches and skills but needs to shed more weight to get fit because he seem heavy and gassed out before he was replaced

I believe the goal yesterday will boast his morale and with more hard work he will bounce back soon
