If Tunisia loses, Egypt enters top 5. Egypt will have to play another team from the unseeded section, taking another potentially big team (e.g Ivory Coast/Cameroon, Mali, Ghana) out of our worries.

Okay

If Tunisia loses, is it not GD that will be used to determine who goes forward?

Except Equatorial Guinea win Sha....

His pace lasan!

This guy will go far.... it's obvious...

Believe it or not, he would do much better with a supporting cast of Chukwueze and Ejuke beside him...rather than him drifting to the flank all the time to hustle for the ball ...
Na the agbado coach cause am sha. Osimhen worked like a mule today because the wings weren't existent.

At no time did we even overload the wings sef

Rohr's trust issues betrays every formation he uses.

Lol when I started harping on Rohr's ineptitude and deficiencies way back in late 2017/2018 most of you thought I was just hating on the poor coach. E be like una eyes dun clear now.

Joebie I must apologize for calling you names after our first match at the 2018 world cup.

To be honest I'm have been a Rohr supporter but not anymore after these two past games.

It is clear that this 3-5-2 thing is not working for us. We don't have enough creative personel in the middle to pull strings and Simon and Collins offer nothing to the attack. Hence we are just basically defending and grinding out victories.

It is hurting our game real bad and hurting the psyche of our boys. They seem to play less confidently now.

For crying out loud we have Osimhen! Ejuke (Player of the month - twice in a row), Chukwueze etc.

Bunch of creativity on our wings sitting on the bench. We need to get back to 4-3-3 asap. At least with 4-3-3 we were playing well and scoring well.

This 3-5-2 affair started when some players were out and Iheanacho was playing very well so we had to accommodate him. Honestly Nacho need to find his bearing for the modern game. Rohr had to change formation to suit him. Same thing with Rogers at Leicester.

Not every coach will continue to be patient and twitch formation just to accommodate him. He needs to find a better identity other than a supporting striker. Maybe develop as an attacking midfielder or wing forward etc.

He is part of the reason we resorted to this 3-5-2 thing.

We will continue to have this poor results until Rohr gets back to 4-3-3 and uses our most potent weapon which is creativity from the wings.

Well we got the job done, we have fumbled and wobbled into the play offs. I think our performance was even better in the 1st half, in the 2nd half I don't recall any chances we created or shot on goal as compared to the first half.
That is a serious indictment on Rohrs technical capacity. That said, I think it's too late to fire him now. My own is I have set my expectations low, so if we qualify for the WC i would get over the moon and if we don't, we live to fight another day.

The cases is simple.. Our players got tired. And the coach refused to make any substitution, not until Simeon was taken out by force due to injury scare! 75mins gone already

But not making it to semi finals will definitely get him sacked within 24rs irrespective of that so called meaningless clause they blindly signed
