Southgate coached middlesbrough with no coaching badge in the premier league undecided

It was under special consideration from the English FA.. Go look it up...

You're saying rubbish
Laporta gambled with Guardiola grin grin...it a very big risk I must say, Guardiola had a good spell with Barcelona B, the major feeder team for the Barcelona and he took his chance well then the rest is an history, reference to this with Austin is absolutely trash... Austin has resigned twice from the team due to his poor performances and even sacked by Sunshine stars of akure grin grin due to same poor club performances.

The great Guadihola will be sacked by Sunshine Star for the same thing Austin was sacked for.

No one gets a top job without CV at least with an average CV...CV is just so very important
Gareth got middlesbrough job without a coaching badge he immediately went to coaching academy and got a coaching badge at that point he was even anonymous in the league... football has evolved to what it used to be in 2006 and shii and your players will question your decision if you don't have good credentials.

Lampard?

You are the one making up a useless vague skill set that are only important to goalkeepers, you couldn't even state a basic quality of a good midfielder which is ability to give accurate through balls to offensive players.
It's a combo that work well with a lot of players
Song/Van Persie combo at arsenal
Pirlo/Tevez/Shevchenko
Modric/Ronaldo
Zizou with the numerous players he played with

Other midfield players that are not really good with through balls can compensate with their ability to take long shots and score from long range eg Lampard, Scholes, Essien etc.

You have no idea of what you're talking about and that's why Nwakali is at the level he is today.

You are the one jumping in circles here. The point is simple the coach wants a skill set from his midfielder. How you understand that as the only quality, or the important quality, or attributes of a midfielder is baffling.

It is a skill he wants his midfielder to have. Kelechi Nwakali has the skill. The coach wants to work with him in camp to see if he can bring him up to speed to make the cut.

How that worries you guys baffle me.

The coach has his philosophy and Nwakali has a skill important to him. It is simple. Not only skill. It depends on the playing pattern. Finito.

Below is a masterclass of the skill delivered by Paul Scholes. I guess Paul Scholes is using a vague useless skill meant for goalkeepers. grin

He has scored freekicks right from U17, U20, U23 and for clubsides. But this career own, my brother I no know.

You should know

You said he is a free kick specialist and you don’t know the amount of free kick he has scored ,nwakali has played more than 100 career game’s with B teams and first teams So he should have scored like 5 free kick at least

People should also try to watch the tactical video. You will understand some of the decisions made by the manager.

One thing he stressed was the team will play expansive football. Meaning the forward players will take positions high up the pitch. Then with diagonal long balls, the forward players will get the ball in the opposition's defense.

Then runners at 100km/h will run to give the forwards support to create numbers.

With that, you will understand why he needs a deep-lying playmaker. I guess we will have a defender that will offer this skill too.

Eguavoen believes in expansive offensive football.

I will explain more later.

With nwakali a 4 4 2 formation may be possible. He and ndidi can Marshall the midfield. Chidera ejuke can play as a false winger who sometimes comes to the middle.
There are many options possible.
Look our lack of tactical depth is why Small teams embarrass us.
We need nwakali skill set.
One small team iwobi a false covid report because they realized that our midfield revolves around him and once he is not there we might struggle to create chances.
Other teams can read us like a book and nullify us and nwakali offers something different.
I'm tired of this.
Club football rating is not everything. Onuachu and Moses Simon made us realize that.
Every great team always has a dark horse or surprise player.
People here should try and see things our way.
Midfield control is fundamental to football and if you can win the midfield you have won 50% of the match. Nwakali offers midfield control and can even make the job easier for iwobi if they play together.
Time will prove me right

If you get caught in the skill argument, you bring up pattern, now it's philosophy, even Socrates and Archimedes are now being up all because of a Huesca player

Go and watch Eguavoen's tactical philosophy video and understand his line of thinking.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ey5KcdrfvaM
The Goodjoe I think you credit too much to this video as a statement of Eguavoen's philosophy. Eguavoen dwelt more on the playing style of the 94 squad. One can hardly make much of his philosophy from this video to warrant the way you have been attributing a lot to his philosophy.

I believe the blame should be placed solely on the former coach Gernot Rohr who saw no need to balance the team.
Take note he compiled the current list of AFCON players.

I tend to disagree,Austin had the responsibility of picking the final 28,yet he still decided to follow rohr in his steps of keeping igahlo and musa
Except someone or some people are bending his hand

Smh

Nobody is justifying anything. Stop building mountain out of a molehill.

Olise Nda is a richly talented player that has a lot to offer and we will check him out. Akpoguma , however , has not really impressed but I will still take him over the emerging Olise Nda.

NB: I am not saying Nda is better than Akpoguma because I don't want any back and forth.

Same nwakali that has poor work rate lazy and clumsy off the ball .
Dude is one of the most lazy player I have seen

He needs to be good in ball recovery and driving forward to fair well in a 442 set or else he will be the weak link in the midfield when we get to play an attacking side

Guardiola had not coached any team before he got the Barcelona job in 2007/8. He was brought in from the Barcelona B to coach the A team because of his philosophy and style of play that made the B team unbeatable.

Do you know any club he had coached before 2007? Or where's the decorated CV from

He was successful with Barcelona team b and basically it was a gamble by laporta, Guardiola was not his first choice.

Again , stay on the topic. We are discussing his abilities and he is not a striker.

And , remember I told you we are not making comparisons....its too complicated because many factors shall be considered.

Bottom line , Nwakali has what we desperately need and we will check him out.
