Nice suggestion but have nwakali been tested well in that position, is not when we put him there, the midfield becomes scattered..... Sometimes we don't appreciate iwobi's job in eagles shirt...
2. Aina is good but if we need someone that will support chukwueze in attack especially when we need goals, I think Ebuehi will fit in.
3. I would have preferred 4-3-3 oo

U av obviously never watched aina play for Torino

Iwobi can't hold onto d ball...he gives the ball away very often....his passing ability is average, nothing spectacular...go and watch nwakali videos and compare to iwobi

I am so happy with call ups for Ajayi, Olayinka and Ebuehi

I have always admired Olayinka reason him being a very good LWF that can score and assist so well....he is unselfish and knows when to release the ball. Rohr never gave him a fair trail so with him on that wing I am relaxed if he gets to play

Semi AJAYI is one player that won't make me miss Akpo much. He can use his head and he is goal scoring defender though he won't provide Balogun experience wholesale but he is someone that makes for versatility too as a DM he is better than Innocent Bonke when it comes to DM role for super eagles... I like him and I pray he brings his A game to bare

For Ebuehi we all know his commitments, the spirit he brings to camp and discipline. Dude never got angry or speak rude words when be kept sitting on the bench for shehu and others

ROHR kept him on the bench whenever he gets invited and sometimes he is on standby list but still he kept calm and didn't make noise. Such a player has character and will not disrupt the team when he does not get to play for tactical reasons and when he gets to play we know what he brings to the table.

Since Coach Austin made this additions I have relaxed and seek to enjoy the show and wish him well

For Henry Onyekuru I pray he shines though i would have prefer Dessers...Rohr is to be blamed for that though very annoying coach

Everything you said was spot on

Iheanacho stopped playing that role since the u-13 world cup... he doesn't have the skillset anymore..

It's not a must we use a number 10.. A lot of teams don't use a number 10 anymore...

We just want at least two midfielders that help connect the midfield with attack from the centre
That's why you see us clamour for 10 or AM role

If we have nacho in the field to link midfield with attack or Iwobi it's fine

Yes bro
Thanks

Pls this new Portuguese coach hope he is not conservative like Rohr

ROHR almost ruined the super eagles with his conservative attitude. He knows how to scout and lure fo reign born players but rarely knows how to use them and get the best from them

You think attacking is overlapping and running the ball out of play, Ebuehi is more intelligent to make combination passes and through balls and over the top balls while still maintaining his defensive solidity

Don’t mind them

Ndidi is a defensive midfielder doing his job well but my people are not satisfied

Dem want make e take ball Dey dance skelewu and Dey give passes like Pirlo before dem go satisfy

Funny set of people

Last nations cup he didn't really do well with giving away of free kicks in dangerous places

I expect him to bring out his best this month and lets see that A game of his

Aina is only better in running up and down the flanks, Ebuehi is much more celebral with his attacking plays

most coaches in this era will push jay jay to the flanks unless he can adapt to the cm role
Did you watched Okocha at all? Is Modric of today not a 10 but still playing?
Same Okocha that would go as far as DM just to receive balls from team mates and distribute same balls to every areas of the pitch with Long passes after successful dribbling an opponent?
Or are you talking about same Okocha that majority of his highlighted skills happened in the wings?
Okocha was an all rounder, he was more than a 10 and if Okocha was playing today, he will bench lot of these new generation so called top midfielders that can't pass to save their lives

Sadly they just do not understand. Even at the peak of JJ's career, there were clubs that would never have signed him because of the way he played. This isn't in anyway trash taking okocha's talent, he is one in a generation player in my opinion, but the way he plays is exactly why top clubs in England didn't sign him.

How about kevin de bruyne. He is a no ten.
One mans meat is another mans poison.
The way we see football is different.
You can use a so called outdated style of play to beat a modern opponent four nil.
It depends on your perception.
Football needs players that can create space for the attackers to run into.
Bally carrying, chance creation, space creation are needed in football. In fact wingers need space to run into.
no tens have this skill and will allways be needed.

This is why is is not allways good to rate a player by his club.
A player like peter crouch may seem more relevant to Liverpool in 1995 than Okocha
It depends on your style of play.
With all that Okocha always collected the midfield from manchester united and arsenal anytime
he played against them.
We Nigerians have our style of play we need to be proud of.

Our match against Sierra Leone is a case study of Ebuehi's style of play, he kept most of our possession from right back, being a good attacking full back is knowing when to overlap and when to combine with the winger not every time you keep overlapping like a mad dog
