zicky: Isaac does not joke about his paper. Last year he stopped training becos he wanted a raise. Then wen watford came calling he openly laid out his salary request. So basically i can believe the story on the other hand if Musa Mohammed can buy his own ticket so what is going on with Isaac's pockets? True or false just like Victor if his form continues to rise we must call him. |

So, most of the so called injury list players are those that refused to buy their tickets. I hope the coach leaves them out in future games. We need devoted players. Not egotistical players who can not sacrifice for the team. Flight ticket to play for your country. |

BascoVanVeli: Success comes from sacrifice. If any player is not ready to sacrifice to help the team qualify for the World Cup, they can focus on their club careers. This is a World Cup qualifiers and Isaac Success who has not played a single Super Eagles game can not pay ticket for World Cup qualifiers. Let him stay there. We know those who will fight for the team. |

TheGoodJoe: Without a shadow of a doubt can u tell me that Isaac Success had the money in his account? Maybe like the NFF his money takes time to process. My point is u can't make demands on money that isn't urs. |

BascoVanVeli:Isaac not having in his account is a lame defense, I believe if truly he has no money and communicated it to the fa, am something would have been done. its too early for him to start this way, when Agbo the late invitee was able to make it to camp. 1 Like |

joseph1013:My points based on the bolded lines:- 1. Rohr is up for something with Musa Muhammed. He seems to be interested in his abilities, hence the need to give him more playing time to be able to assess him closely. I won't be surprised if he plays in Ndola. 2. Brown Ideye has not improved in Green White Green. He may not be deployed to the striking role. Might just play on the flanks. That's what best suits him in the Eagles. In this position he can track back to defend as well. Am sure he is good at that. That is, if he plays. CC: Justiz5, Icon4s. |

zicky: The way we make absurdity equal normalcy is beyond comprehension. Is it the responsibilities of players to buy their own tickets? We are being told that Lawmakers have joined some NFF officials to travel to Ndola, yet the same people cannot pay for the player's flight from his base. The way we reason sometimes. So because Mikel and others bought their own tickets means it is the right thing to do and thus the international career of Success who refused should be finished? Success didn't fall your hand, it's the NFF that has falled your hand. 2 Likes |

EXPOSED! EX MARKETING CHIEF REVEALS HUGE AMOUNT OF MONEY IN NFF ACCOUNT, CALLS PINNICK LIAR OVER BROKE CLAIMS Former marketing director of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Idris Adama says, the apex football house in Nigeria has enough funds to prosecute the 2018 World Cup qualifiers in Zambia despite claims to the contrary by the football house. President of the Nigeria Football Federation made a plea to the government to intervene and save the broke football house, but Adama insist the football house has enough funds to prosecute the qualifiers. “I decided not to talk since I was asked to leave the NFF early 2015 for no reason,” Adama wrote on this Facebook page. “Up till this moment I was not given my letter of disengagement nor have I been paid my severance allowance, an organisation that I have worked for a decade. “Despite consistent political and leadership crisis of the NFF coupled with lack of confidence on the leadership by the organised private sector, I generated for them N1.4billion, in addition to Euros 780,000.00 and $1million annually. “My reward was to be sent out unceremoniously. It’s all well and good. I have moved on long time. But ask them, Emzor Pharmaceutical has paid N35million, Supersport has paid $1million and Globacom is owing which was due on the 7th July 2016 N382,500,000.00. Where are these monies? “They are just being wicked to the society that engaged them to deliver positive results to the growth of our football. They will never like me because I am blunt. Good day Adama Idris. Former Director (Marketing) Nigeria Football Federation,” he signed off the statement. “There are still lots more secret I will tell the public soon about the rot in the NFF.” http://owngoalnigeria.com/2016/10/06/exposed-ex-marketing-chief-reveals-huge-amount-of-money-in-nff-account-calls-pinnick-liar-over-broke-claims/ 1 Like 1 Share |

^^^It's a shame that instead of calling for accountability and asking for the head of Pinnick, some people here are blaming players for not buying their own tickets. That's the way some said what Mikel did at the Olympics was no big deal because he has the money to foot the team's bills. Even if he has the money, is that his job? Is he making money to spend on the National team? Will you continue to go to work if your employer keep insisting that you come to work without pay? I guess a lot of people here think that players are not human beings like them. SMH 2 Likes |

zicky: Do you know they have not paid money owed the players for the last match? Do you know they are yet to pay the money owed the players for the Olympics? That these same officials took themselves and their families to Brazil in the name of supporting the athletes? Do you know there is still controversy over how the NFF cornered the money the Japanese surgeon gave the players and coaches? Do you know Siasia has said NFF has money to pay them but has refused? That he said as a coach he understands if a player does not want to play for the national team? That he said he would sue the Federation for constantly reneging on their promises? That he can no longer work with those running our football right now? See...it's very convenient to blame the players and leave the federation. That's what Nigerian fans do. All they want is to watch the players running on the field, it doesn't matter to them if the players are fed or doing alright psychologically. 2 Likes |

Ok i don't think i ever made top 10 in maths but 20% cannot only be Victor Moses and Isaac Success. The story seems fake to me now that i think about it, why would the clubs lie? Especially since chelsea release Mikel who they claimed was injured. |

Though I doubt Success is feigning injury but guys come on... What's making NFF broke? That nigga there that calls himself Pinnick is being economical with the truth. If u wanna blame somebody here, it should be the NFF not any of the players. It is their hard earned money, they do with it whatever that please them. By the way, what's the guarantee that they will get reimbursed by the NFF? Na today e start? They still owe ikpeba or so for a flight ticket since 90s. The NFF ain't trust worthy so plzzzzz let these boys be. Vent ur anger on those bunch of failures at the glass house biko not the players. Sacrifice ko!! Abegi jor 1 Like |

joseph1013: We know that there is corruption in the house. FIFA tied the hands of Nigeria to intervene. Any action from the Nigerian government will call for a ban. So, does that mean our players should sit back and not qualify for the World Cup? They are professional footballers, playing for the World Cup should be in their hearts. If they can foot bills to make it to the World Cup, it is honorable for them. Mikel will remain respected for his sacrifices for the Nigerian team's Bronze medal at the Olympics. Former players sacrificed a lot for Nigeria's success. The coaches like Manu Garba, Amunike, Oliseh, Keshi, Siasia etc sacrificed too. If we are to keep succeeding, our players need to sacrifice. If players feel this is beyond them, goodluck to them. 2 Likes |

The news does not even substance and some are already blaming Success for not using his own money to travel. Who is the official saying he is feigning injury? Does he not have a name? We are too quick to judge based on rumours as if we've been nursing grudges against the player beforehand. 1 Like |

joseph1013: You can say the news might not be true. It I up to Isaac Success to say it is not true. But, if he refused to travel because he did not want to pay for his pocket, then he is not ready for the challenges Nigerian Super Eagles footballers face. He should focus on cementing his place in the Watford team. |

TheGoodJoe: Until you can give evidence that you can go to work without pay, you have no moral standing to criticize any player for not paying for flight to play for Nigeria. Even ASUU go on strike if lecturers are not paid. What are you talking about? Give evidence you can work without pay. 2 Likes |

joseph1013: Which kind words without pay? The Super Eagles team is not their regular job. As long as others have sacrificed and are in camp, then Success should have helped. I repeat, if the news is true, then he is not ready for the challenges of Super Eagles. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by joseph1013: 10:25am On Oct 07, 2016 |
TheGoodJoe: A job is a job. A worker is worthy of his wages. That a man has chosen to work without pay does not make it a normal thing and something to be encouraged, especially when it is being shown over and over again that the employers perpetually have a slavish attitude. You cannot say he is not ready for the challenges of the Super Eagles when you cannot show that you can work without pay yourself. Stop encouraging corruption and incompetence. 2 Likes |

TheGoodJoe: Thanks sir, but that's not normal. It is absurd. We all have our responsibilities cut out... This is the sole responsibility of the NFF. It is in no way incumbent on the players to buy their flight tickets. The Olympic issue is a show of shame from the NFF because they relented and are still relenting on their responsibility. If u knw u ain't capable, y assume the mantle? What tangible thing has this administration achieved ever since they got into power? They can't do their job yet they wanna impose it on the players. Let them resign if they see the work as too demanding. They should be ashamed of themselves that the players funded themselves at the Olympic and at the end they came out to take the glory. Bunch of lazy fucktards. Pinnick is killing our game, the truth must be told. 2 Likes |

joseph1013: Where did I encourage corruption? I said he is not ready for the Challenges if the news is true. He should focus on Watford. I never encouraged corruption and you attributing that to me is very low. I must say. I wish the Federal Government can fight the corruption in the NFF. However, FIFA tagged that interference. So do you advice players fold their arms, deny themselves a chance to play in a World Cup because of some corrupt officials? |

Look at a few of your many unfortunate statements: TheGoodJoe: So you mean it is alright to not get paid because the Super Eagles is not his regular job? How ridiculous! let us leave d issue if success dis and success DAT. although I feel he is injured BT even if he is faking it, it doesn't matter we can win in Ndola with or without him after all I don't tink even with his availability he would HV started given to his inexperience atd international stage. with d information am gathering on what is going on in d super eagles camp, our likely line up barring any changes or injuries would be Carl ikeme, musa mohammed , echijele, ekong, omeruo Ind defence den Ind midfield onazi takes d defensive midfield slot due to his long term partnership with d captain, Mikel and also iheanacho would play d no 10 role flanked by iwobi on d left, d dilemma d coach is currently facing is who takes d right side of d attack is it moses simon or musa BT I tink musa would take it NCOs of moses simon inability to track back and help musa Mohammed d sole spot for d 9 role is ideye brown. as far as am concerned these lineup should be able to get a win in Ndola bad pitch or no bad pitch, d only problem is for dem to play to d coach instructions and take their chances wen it comes because with d creativity of iwobi, nacho and Mikel we would surely created chances. d only problem I HV is musa Mohammed he needs to bring his A game, he would be a target for d Zambians because dey will feel he is d weak link in d defence due to his inexperience. he should nt go on those rampaging runs Ind opposition territory, his primary work is to defend cos we re away |
