4 Burkinabes players have tested positive .ahead of tomorrow's match. The coach said the four players are the main players, and the captain started a protest against the result. Expert in the house, please, what are the rules concerning Covid 19 in Afcon? Imagine all goalkeepers in a team tested positive or all Nigerian midfielders test positive before a second match against Algeria. I need clarity. I doubt this tournament will be free from controversies
It can be postponed if it's severe

Perhaps if we know who are those in charge of the covid-19 tests, it would give us a better insight as to what to expect.. Is it only Cameroon health workers allowed to administer the test, or is it a team selected by CAF, or perhaps each country is allowed to administer it's own test with its own health officers.... There's just not enough clarity...

What's your take on Nigerians bashing and trolling Watford in their official facebook page?

IMO I think it's really bad for business

Those guys have about 5 Nigerians on their books, Yeah it was quite heartbreaking to see Dennis miss the AFCON,but I believe we are taking it too far

Funny thing is that the Hornets fans are now fighting back...

What's your take??

Doesn't matter much. Nigerians not even ranked among such fans that do this thing so furiously.

Even the coach said he needs clarity. Confusion everywhere. I hope host won't use covid 19 test as advantage

Let's hope it is nothing serious..

Sierra Leone also tried this with us once. Using iwobi. I wouldn't put it past Cameroon to falsify the results

In the here and now, list the teams that have a better squad than Nigeria at the AFCON, using your own parameters of league quality and the amount of $$ the players earn...

Apparently, you have disagreed with nearly every moniker that's ranking us along the top favorite..it'd be helpful if you drafted your own ranking...

It may not have come to your notice , but my responses are largely rhetorical.

A view is stated and my response should really get a person with an open mind and not overly parochial or overcome with sentiment based Favouritism. To essentially reconsider. But not you.

You don't challenge with substance just self birthed justification.

Maybe I am being too objective and not emotive enough. Maybe your more of a fan than me.

Fan being derived from fanatical and fanatical relates to the emotive irrationality and the subjective.

When you say moniker you mean the contributors here.❓ Or do you mean independent non partisan independent sport's media and football analysts ❓❓

according to CAF even if all your keepers have COVID as long as you have 11 fit players the match must go on

My view is very simple .

Football is stil a career and if going to a tournament will not enhance my career, I can sacrifice and go but if going will put my career in jeopardy, should you go.

When Yobo went to AFCON he lost his position of Jagielka and after that it was really a matter of time before he would leave.

I blame Dennis for not being smart , he didn't have to say the club prevented him. To save face before Nigerian fans.

True mr Komekn, i cannot remember the last time we beat Egypt, or scored more than once against them.

Let's face it, we are not a free scoring team, and we would need lots of goals to beat Egypt.

For me Egypt are very well organised they play like brothers nobody is looking for glory, highly disciplined, they really really understand themselves and as such very difficult to break down.

But I don't think they will win.

Bookies ain't giving us no chance at all. Imagine SportyBet giving Nigeria 3.33 odds to beat Egypt. What an insult!.

I don stake better money on am sha. Bookies must pay for this gross underestimation of the SE.

Your entire write up is based on assumption and history.

I looked at teams in the HERE and NOW looking at team composition and the quality of players they have, with details.

And all you can say is historical form and make assumptions by historical precedent. That's not very intelligent.
Some times you behave like a neonate, if you don't know about the history of the competition how can you make a critical judgement about the teams.

What do you even mean about the Here and Now? is it club football?

Some times i marvel at your so call intelligent.

sorry but this is false, Yobo was injured shortly before that tournament managed to get fit and played the first game then suffered another injury during the second game of the Afcon. This means Yobo was out for about 2-3 months, injury dropped Yobo not Afcon
