The back passes were annoying. Ndidi got frustrated at some point. Hopefully, he comes good.

They all have their all. On to the next game.

Have you thought about the fact he was playing deeper than Ndidi at some point.

Ejuke is a gem

I want Ebuehi to start next game also

We already know what Collins has to offer.

I would play Aina left back and Ebuehi Right back.

I want to know more about Ajayi , Ekong is best CB and captain. Sometimes you need a Midfielder to come in who has a relentless work rate to ensure things or your lead is maintained that player is Onyeka.

Why did we bring Olayinka and Onyekuru if we wil not see what they have to offer.

Is there anybody that has eyes that thinks Sadiq and Nwakali should be given more opportunity to waist.

Thank God you're his friend, tell him to stop keeping ball in our half abeg. Other players are moving forward, Nwakali dey give foolish back pass

No even try put he and Iwobi in the same sentence, except you want to compare how good one sub was and poor the other.

The only person that did worse than Nwakali in all the subs was Sadiq

Lana, that backpass you call foolish kept our possession and allowed us rebuild again. Unlike rushing buildups and losing the ball unnecessarily.

Also, he didn't even give too many backpasses....

Nwakali nailed 24 accurate passes. 16 of those were into opposition half and only 8 in own half.

So explain Lana, how was he backward thinking?

You see I expected this mob mentality gang up against Nwakali but I am ready to dispel the fallacies many will bring forth today.

And understand one thing. I DON'T EVEN KNOW KELECHI NWAKALI PERSONALLY. It's Osimhen I know ooo... as for Nwakali. Never spoken to him. But ofcos some of una no go believe.

16 passes out of 24 accurate passes into/in opposition half and 3 long balls accurately delivered 2 of which set up Iwobi for a cross and Zaidu (I think) for another cross from both wings.

We were tidier in the middle with Nwakali. That is the truth. Anything contradicting this is Caps coz even the stats show I am right.

Me ooo, I don't have confidence in Okoye. He's too erratic. The other goalkeepers must be really bad for Okoye to be benching them.
Guy just tall, fine but his goalkeeping skills is suspect.

All these Nwakali slander. Is it not the lad that had given 3 accurate long balls in this same half and even had a driving move just now setting up iwobi on the wings?

His distribution was very tidy and he alongside Iwobi made us keep the ball more in the middle.

We struggled to do this in the first half. Iwobi and Nwakali steps in and we were neat in pass recyles but ofcos people that don't know ball must slander.

Superficial observers. grin
exactly. Some people don't know how to watch ball at all.

Nwakali just came into this game to put pressure on the team. Eguavoen should stop getting too sentimental. Why didn't he bring on Frank the Tank instead of this back pass specialist? Because the only reason he made the squad is out of Eguavoen's love. Nothing else. Ndidi was frustrated with him at one point.

Of course this is not true because we seized control of the midfield when be was on.

Tellwhat:
Osimhen and Napoli really mess up

Osimhen suppose dey light up this afcon. Most likely would have scored a brace or hatrick

I hope our next match this Sadiq chops bench for the entire 90mins

Also if Egypt draw or lose against guinea. I hope we see a totally different starting lineup against Guinea Bissau. I have a feeling that Ejuke guy is a gem. Would be nice to see Ejuke, Ebuehi, Frank, Olisa ndah, semi ajayi and onyekuru

Oga leave Osimhen who is not here at Afcon2021 and focus on Awoniyi. AWO needs your support and prayers to keep doing well at this tournament okay. So throw your weight behind him as the tournament progresses. Na wa ooo

Will we continue to play a 4-2-4 against stronger teams because we will be slaughtered, I suggest Eguavoen plays his starting midfield 3 for the next match so they can bed in before the knockout stages

There was a time when Musa or Iwobi was open for a run but Nwakali passed the ball backwards and stalled possession.

That was why ndidi was frustrated with him at a point. Ndidi wanted the 1-2 going forward but he took it backwards.

If you keep making back passes, you put your team under pressure.

Aina , while full of energy could be a little sluggish and lackadaisical in decision making. While he is okay and could do the job , I personally favor Ebuehi.

Thank God

You're another Nwakali guy

Tell him to try to push the ball forward too

He actually played well the first ten minutes, I don't know what happened as the game progressed, but definitely the second lowest rates Sub for me. IDC.

Na only he and Sadiq make me shout when dem enter pitch.

Yes and it's surprising in a match where the Defenders have shielded him and kept the opposing team at bar.

What if we play a team that unleashes attacking verve against us?

exactly. Some people don't know how to watch ball at all.

As in eh. Shows you how really surface-level most people's eyes in here are.

A lad came in and recorded a 92% passing accuracy. Gave 24 accurate passes. 16 of those passes were into/in opposition half and only 8 were in his own defensive half. And he played deep ooo.

Had 3 accurate long balls. That was a 100% long balls accuracy from Nwakali. Even his last act saw him drive forward beating a man and setting up Iwobi who could get a cross in.

He didn't miss a beat on the long balls delivery and he distributed tidily. Kept control of that middle game and even

He even had a shot on target from a freekick and won 2 out of his 3 ground duels.

And the mob wants me to accept that Nwakali Played nonsense.

Mbanu now... even the stats say they are fooling themselves yet this is a game we all watched.

The calm we had in our Middle game in the second half wasn't present in the first half. We were rushed and putting ourselves under undue pressure in the first half in the middle because we couldn't keep the ball well enough and truly dictate play.

Iwobi and Nwakali came on and we saw control and calm. Honestly, not many people here know ball. I swear!!! grin

They just wanna Diss and Diss. Smh

It's funny shaa...
