codemaniacs: Lol. I watched that movie and I understand what he meant. He was insinuating that Akeela needed to improve her English vocabulary by speaking with the correct words and word structure in English language. I'm not an unserious person. This is a faceless forum, let's speak with facts to have an insightful conversation. If I should go by your analogy, then nearly 90% of Nigerians are unserious because alot of the members of our Nigerian society speak "Pidgin English" which is a corruption of the English language. Nigeria is among the nations of the world where rampant open defecation is practiced. That's says alot about our water system. Millions may have access to water but it will be extremely few. No single state or city in the entire Federal Republic Of Nigeria can boast of atleast 70% water supply or 24/7 water supply. Lol. Look, you talkin like every folk you meet in the rural area is a farmer. That's not it. Alotta people in the rural area are broke. We should face the facts that our people are suffering and our country isn't finding it smooth. Many peeps lack quality meals. They keep repeating same meals because they can't afford a quality one. Lol. You keep making me feel surprised. What do you mean "in reality not poor"? Do you know the definition of poverty? "Poverty is the inability to provide for your BASIC NEEDS. " Basic needs includes; clean water, quality three square meals daily, basic education and health, clothing and shelter. Don't you get? You gotta stop being a conspiracy theorist. All these bull crap about being " Anti- African " is just not it. I know the whites supremacists don't care about us but our neo-colonialist leadership are allowing this suffering of our people to continue. I bet you've never worked in or got in an IDP camp. In Maiduguri, the same Americans you're calling " Anti-African" are the major sponsor and donor for IDPs through the USAID. If the Americans remove funds today, the system will be crippled!. 3 Likes |

Shola Shoretire has been ranked among the fifty most exciting teenagers in world football by United Kingdom-based football magazine FourFourTwo. The Manchester United winger is one of two Nigeria-eligible teenagers that made the cut, the other being PSV rising star Nonso Madueke. While Shoretire was ranked 44th, England U21 international Madueke is in nineteenth place. Borussia Dortmund's Jude Bellingham is the top teenager in the world followed by Barcelona duo Pedri and Ansu Fati, Liverpool's Harvey Elliott and Bayern Munich's Jamal Musiala in that order. Also on the prestigious list are Gavi (Barcelona), Ryan Gravenberch (Ajax Amsterdam), Jeremy Doku (Rennes), Yunus Musah (Valencia), Anthony Elanga (Manchester United), Yeremy Pino (Villarreal), Cole Palmer (Manchester City) and Charlie Patino (Arsenal). On Shoretire, Mark White wrote : "Shoretire has been used out wide but is devastating in between the lines on the left, using his right foot to pick out passes and his diminutive frame to jink past defenders. "The youngster is improving all the time and could well get more minutes in the first team next season, should Paul Pogba leave this summer." Manchester United's current Young Player of the Year, Shoretire has made debuts in the Champions League, Europa League and Premier League. |

JohnBullMySon: Don't you think you have instituted a double standard as well as misinformation. This is Ademola Lookman 5th Season in the EPL. On his debut for Everton in January 2017 Everton flogged Manchester City 4-1 and he scored. Because this is Lookman third season in the EPL . Now compare his consistency with any other player in the SE and he will probably be right at the top. Don't forget he was winning MOTM as a 17 year old for Charlton in the Championship. In January 2019 he got a MOTM against Bournemouth for Everton. He has been very consistent. For a winger 3 goals in 15 games in the EPL may not be excellent but very good. Now if you like compare him to anybody else in the SE and you will see ,you are under rating him. He has been a consistent performer for essentially 7 years. |

ChrisKels: He is doing well in North African football. Must all our players come from Europe? The Egyptian keeper in afcon is better than maduka okoye. North African league is good and a lot of players in afcon were from North African league. We are too Euro scentric with our players. Look Mohammed aboutrika was better than a lot of Europe based players. I believe he should be given a chance as his career is not a failure. In fact it is better to play for all shly or zamalek than to be in Latvia or Slovakian league 5 Likes |

Stormtrooper11: States above the River Niger and river benue were meant to be poor. So don't mention states in northern Nigeria because they were originally meant to be poor if not for Ironsi that abolished regional system of government and changed it to unitary system of govt most states in Northern Nigeria won't have access to the oil money and other taxes gotten from Southern Nigeria.. If the Amer:icans remove funds today, then terrorism will end in Nigeria.. because the more states that have IDPs the more "foreign agents" will spread across Nigeria in the name of charity.. |

Stormtrooper11: Last year I was in Nigeria for 7 month's over three trips. I don't live in Banana Island. I am not from a rich extended family and I know about poverty. I will not go into details on the number of people I have to help family and friends. That's between me and my God. Do you know that there are some people if I did not pay Thier medical bills they will simply die. Do you know there graduate in Lagos that earn 40k a month. What can that do for anybody even a child. People be can extremely unreasonable and pretentious here. 3 Likes |

I get that people are excited about the inclusion of Lookman into the team, but let's chill... His career stats isn't really better than most of our wingers that some of us love to criticize for dribbling too much or not scoring enough.. Sure,he can add something new to the team, but anybody trying to make our present wingers look small side by side with Lookman is being delusional.... 3 Likes 1 Share |
