Well, I agree with that part to develop African leagues. It is a very good idea.

In that particular set, most paid for the preliminary MRI test. That was why Kanu Nwankwo paid for many of the boys screening.

It was a move by the NFF not to wait for the CAF screening before doing theirs, to prevent CAF screening out an already prepared team just before the competition.

So the scan cost N100,000 and Obinwa came in from America, so he was not listed among those covered by sponsors. Note some agents also paid for screening.

When the result came out, Obinwa failed the screening. It did not mean he was overage. Keep in mind, they used strict requirements. So the mother asking for the scans was out of the question because what criteria will they use to ascertain.

What is wrong in asking for result you paid for? I smell fraud.

Joe Aribo a goal-scoring and assist-giving midfielder, but not a playmaker. Similar to Dele Alli.

Nwakali Nigeria's truest Deep Lying playmaker. Etebo another one capable there.

How can man go contrary? When TheGoodJoe proposes, very few can contest.

True.

I said it and I will say it again, that red card to Alex cost us the Nations Cup! Equaveon won me over cause he was proactive and he organizes the team in a way that the opposition doesn't really have the chance to shoot on target! Bringing Iwobi and Olayinka on suppose to be a masterclass but the red card just spoilt everything. Nevertheless we still played better. I don't see any team in Africa capable of measuring up to us with the presence of our full squad! Alex was sensational today, so was Chuz, Dennis, Osi, Zanusi etc.

Aribo is a hole player, he runs at the box to score goals and create assist, Nwakali is an orchestrator (DLP), Etebo is a box to box midfielder

In our Midfield, ndidi and Aribo position is secured and are undroppable on their day. It is the 3rd midfield position that’s available to grab. Anyone from the likes of nwakali, etebo, iwobi and onyeka can grab it

I think Iwobi should fit in there.
That’s a more balanced equation.

My only problem with Iwobi is he does the work yeah, but his output inside or near the final third is zero. Man always looked confused on what to do next, to me I think he should get a personal trainer who'd train him on shots (he lacks that) so he becomes lethal both at midfield and in the final third.

Even on his best days, his output around the final third is always lackluster

Sadiq is well positioned to be in the SE squad if we qualify for the WC. Almeria will likely be promoted to Laliga next season , Onuachu seems stuck in Belgium , Denise will likely be relagated to the championship and Nacho will still be backing up Vardy. Osihmen, Sadiq and Awoniyi will be to the mundial if they maintain form.

Painful he is not the PK taker

Jorginho is a poor man Mikel with pk duties
This shows Mikel was an average player not world class in a any shred of imagination like some would argue. I mean, just 2 years since his retirement and nobody talks about him, nobody missed him at the nation's cup, he is not remembered by analysts or sports presenters, he just vanished from everybodys memory like he was never in the national team for more than 10 years.
I just saw you mention Mikel that was when I recalled that name. I hope for his own sake he returns back to Nigeria to make some appearances on the screen, otherwise his brand will be dead and buried forever.

I pray he keeps playing like this. Iwobi is doing well. He was one of the few good performers we had at the AFCON. All I know is that it'll be difficult for Dele Alli to bench Iwobi if Iwobi keeps his form. They just blew £40M for nothing.

Thing is Marcelo is a useless defender at this point in his career and with Mendy injured RM on’t have a choice. Chuks abused him well well like say he resemble Tunisian. grin grin

Dele Alli came on a free transfer, its just certain clauses that will be met before £40M will be paid, like the first one is paying Tottenham £20M pounds if he plays 20 games for Everton and I think other clauses in the deal will be kind of difficult to meet, so let's just say he was bought for literally £20 million pounds

Iwobi was monstrous today. I couldn't believe this is the same Iwobi I watched with my own eyes playing the creative role to perfection..

We have good players honestly. Zaidu played yesterday against Sporting Lisbon in the Portuguese classico and he was awesome. He hit the post with a thunderous volley..

Chukwueze lined up RM defenders like he's selling ice cream but couldn't break down Tunisia... Football is a funny game.

And the unnecessary hype begins grin grin grin grin

Seems the pain of AFCON is slowly receeding

Kai, some fans will never change

Now you see my point where I said Napoli may be the best club Osimhen may play for if his agent doesn't play the transfer game well
