andrewbaba44:To be frank with you Akpeyi looks jittery at times and at 36 the SE needs a solid upgrade in the GK department, it's not like Akpeyi himself is an Neuer or Handanovic. Uzoho barely plays Osigwe is second choice at his team Lawal is injured Okonkwo and the Tottenham dude still play youth football. The ones in the Nigerian league can't be vouched for as they are not exceptional in continental games. Whoever the next coach is needs serious work in that department. The team has been conceding comedic goals since Ikeme's illness forced him to early retirement 3 Likes |

andrewbaba44: He used to be one of my best journalists but he has been falling my hand of late. He acts like he knows it all and like he's speaking to primary 4 pupils. Let's not even talk about how silly he gets when women visit the studio. How can a journalist say that Rohr did not achieve anything in his 5 year tenure? Was he expecting him to win the world cup? Was he expecting him to win the AFCON after Nigerian coaches failed to qualify for 2 editions? If you tell me Rohr started messing up towards the end of his tenure, I will believe ; but to call him a failure is just pure hatred. 3 Likes |

COOL10:Segun Odegbami is not a racist cos i remeber him.as one of those that made sure Westerhoff was employed as Nigeria coach and he worked behind the scene for Westerhoff, traveling with the team to even their Papendal camp with full coverage by giving us daily report on the team. Sir,big Sege is a real pro Nigerian who represented the first golden generation of Super eagles 1976 to1980...Segun Odegbami made it possible for Super.eagles to play England in what was tagged WEMBLEY SHOWDOWN and it remain Nigeria best friendly till date, truly we lost but eagles showed class. If you don't know it was Segun Odegbami that made it possible for Nigeria to win her first olympic gold medal through Chioma Ajunwa....Ajunwa thought she cannot make it due to non challant attitude of sport ministry. It was Segun Odegbami that took over her training program, employed a season coach, sponsored her trainings and competitions before Atlanta 96.He was the only one that believed in Ajunwa and told her to concentrate on a long jump. YES Rohr is a failure but i will not say worst...Rohr spent six good years with no solid foundation for eagles but some rated him only cos he came in when we failed to qualify for afcon Rohr qualify Nigeria for 2022 WC?Capital NO.....It was glaring he.has no idea again....yes Eguavoen failed but late Shuaib Amodu was able to qualify us for 2002 WC after Bonfrere Jo lost the direction.....so if Eguavoen could'nt do what Amodu did does'nt make Rohr a better option. Rohr spent good six years that no coach as ever spent but what do we have zero team with no zeal. 4 Likes |

Kog45: Bias! Bias! Bias!. Absolute dishonesty. That's all I see in this post. Same way you made a false statement regarding my stand on Iwobi. I replied and you couldn't say anything again. You're coming at me like I ever doubted Segun's legendary status or abilities. I never did. I simply called him what he is and that is a fact. He's a bloody racist. Let's say the truth when we see it please. Are you people not tired of telling lies? Ahn Ahn. Segun says a lot of terrible things about white people. Things that if a white man says about a black man, he would be called a racist. All one needs to do is listen to him consistently and watch him expose himself. Black people can be racists too. Concerning Rohr, I don't even know what to tell you. If the little things he did before he Sierra Leone draw and C.A.R loss are not visible to you, then I have nothing else to say to you. 1 Like 1 Share |

Karlovych:Sir time to go to NPFL for keepers not NPFL second or third choice that Rohr introduced and Eguavoen folliwed the method abi na Alloy Agu.....enough of bringing foreign based div four or three keeper...imagine Maduka joined eagles as div four player, playing in regional league and Uzoho from segunda three just like person wey jump from primary school enter university. Truly NPFL is damn poor but goalkeeping department still a place to get talent...let see them slugging it out with damn average Maduka and Uzoho or any foreign one discover again....that department must be throw open for the best to emerge. 5 Likes |

Kog45: It's okay man. No bad blood whatsoever. I just don't expect seasoned journalists like Godwin and Segun to say some of the things they say at times. They have the audience, so people will always listen to them. It's not just them, sports journalism in Nigeria is just so poor. Nigeria will be great again. |
