Nunez has missed 6 big chances the last two games.

In those two games I have become even more convinced that only Mbappe and Haaland are better young strikers than him.

Some things many cannot see.

So he is good because he missed big chances that he was bought and expected to scored?
How then would you classify him if he had scored 4 or the 6 big chances?
I thought the hallmark of a good or promising striker is his abilities to convert even half chances?

The hallmark of a good striker is create chances for himself.
Every quality is physical and intellectual.

But finishing is mental.

This same lad scored 4 goals in one game for Liverpool in friendlies.

For this year CAF league , two team in Quarter final and one in Semi-finals is not bad for algerian football wink

Same for the year before . 2 teams in Quarter final
Quarter finals and Semi finals should be counted as success for little teams across Africa not for Js Kabile, USMA Algiers and the likes. The big Algerian clubs used to dominate Africa but not anymore. No need being insecured about my post.
For context, Nigeria will celebrate a world cup quarter final loss, but heads will roll in Brazil.

very very. Also Torunarigha’s case should be revisited. We need more quality centre backs playing in mainstream European leagues in the super eagles

Imagine having the luxury of below listed CBs in the current super eagles set up

Okoli- Atalanta
Adarabioyo- Fulham
Torunarigha- Gent
Bassey- Ajax
Akpoguma- Hoffenheim
Ajayi- Westbrom
Ekong- Watford
Jenz- Celtic
Uduokhai- Augsburg

I will advise he shouldn’t move in January. If he continue with his form before the World Cup break top serie A clubs will come for him in the summer

Any of inter,Milan, juve or even Napoli(if osimhen leaves) may take a chance on him. Also top ligue 1 clubs like marseille, Monaco and psg may show interest as well

Torunarigha and Udokhai are more or less like Akpogunma...The period when they were youth prospects that we were desperately chasing is over...We don see their true colours... They should go and sit down...

Nunez and vlahovic are just too poor not an all round striker not even close

I'm not too surprised. He is a technical ball playing defender. I saw h play and was amazed.
He is more skillfull and technical than most if not all our defenders and I suspect he can play in midfield.
I rate players by how the play and not league as not everyone has the same opportunity and if you are under 25 then your not being in a top league may be a question of opportunity and time.
He is one of the best defenders in African football right now
