As it is Super Eagles only need to replace Uzoho and the yeye attackers must stop selfishness and convert their goal chances. Asking for Amuneke Finidi e.t.c will not produce any magic. Read my first line carefully. grin

As for me am not to confident in this current super eagles team aheading to afcon in January is still the same set of players that will prosecute the afcon in January no changes . Am sure of Joe Aribo And Francis Uzoho making the final list for Afcon.

I support this idea.
This thread can form a force that can effect a positive change in our football.
We must not stand aside and watch everything about Nigeria colapse.
We can use the power of social media to our advantage and that might be the beginning of a new era in Nigeria.
The committee must write to the NFF immediately and extend the same letter to the ministry of sports. In proffering a solution, we should suggest 5 competent coaches from Nigeria and abroad.

This is our only country, this is the only thing that unites us. This is our major source of joy and pride as a Nation.
We must get involved!
Jpes must go NOW!
Na wetin I see 3yrs ago. I made a comment and pleaded with people here to unite and form a capable force through organizing of hangouts, mini-tournaments, hangouts but they all decide to hid in their shell and be abusing and threatening each other on a faceless forum. grin
The other guy wey sabi, Bascovelli..don go open a YouTube channel dey cash out on steady! Them wey dey here for nairaland no fit tell Basco make he use him YouTube channel to promote this space and bring it to the attention of the NFF??

Na so Pinnick dey praise am for TV last year or so; as the guy na analyse our matches for AFCON 2021 with video experts... dey tell Pinnick e suppose go like this and that. cheesy
And Pinnick believe am with him sweet mouth.
Guy you see Spain, Portugal, all these Portugaese and Spaniard colonies na dem get sweet mouth pass. They can talk you believe anything you never bargained for and very cunning people also. There's nothing you will tell Pesiro about that game he will still find a way to exonerate himself. Unlike Rohr that chooses to be honest and let you know your players are average.
The last line is what a lot of people do not want to accept. A bulk of players we have are average which is not bad. Problem is that we should be winning ALL matches against so called minnows which we know can not happen all the time. The team is AVERAGE. Some are suggesting we get a grade A coach. Can we pay them the salary required? Is the environment suitable for a Grade A coach to function? Do we have the players who are consistent enough to execute the plans of these coaches?
We really really need to lower the expectaion level.
For those clamouring for the homebased players which I support by the way, one would think they need to defeat their fellow rivals locally before going international. I know they will get there but for now in my own opinion, we are very much average!!!

I don't know if the Nff Hr look at Jp Cv and previous record before they employed himself . Pinnick just consult Mourinho for a coach and Mourinho decided to give him Jp as our head coach

Jp will still make mouth that we are winning the afcon with Francis Uzoho in post and with our thinning midfield . I saw Alex iwobi playing as Dm in yesterday match . Jp should stop dreaming and state the fact we are not ready yet

Trust me our local coaches will scatter this team.
I even heared some of these players secretly asked for Peseiro stay... Jokes apart and forget the score line yesterday. I think the team plays free flow football and proper dominance in their last 2 to 3 games.

My emphasis is the Strikers shouid please convert our chances. Just take a look at Lookman and Awoniyi unseriuosnesss in yesterday's match.

At least you accepted that MRI has drastically reduced age cheating, that includes Nigeria,to a reasonable level,
albeit not beyond any reasonable doubt.
That is encouraging.

Agreed without question.

Before it was blatantly obvious and a national disgrace.

One fact is that the team setup is imbalanced. Yes, one may make excuses for Peseiro by citing poor clinicality and stuff but this imbalance is what will cost the team in the long run.

their bantu fc players are the reason they have never qualified for the world cup nor the afcon. Their banku fc players is the reason they are currently ranked 153 out of 207 countries. Freak results like this happens. It's football. No dey gas below mid players abeg.
That's not the point. Togo and Angola qualified for the world cup with division 4 players. Lesotho haven't qualified because they simply haven't raised a formidable team.

You call it a freak result but it's not. The Super Eagles have failed to get results against smaller teams over the least few years. Few pages back some posters were expressing how disenchanted they have been watching the Super Eagles, have they been doing so well and people are disconnecting from the team? It wasn't a one-off bad game.

The national team managers have been calling up every player who plays in the big leagues. Mix them together to have starting eleven and hope they win. Of course, they will win some games, but this process will leave you with an unbalanced team who can't hack it at crucial moments especially against lowblock teams. This is where we are.

If we swap our 11 with SA, these same folks will wee their would if we play them.
We don't even need to swap 11 players, just dash them 2 each fyrom each department. They'd skyrocket in the FIFA rankings. Those guys have very good style of play, good local football system, infrastructure, and discipline. They'roe just lacking in individual talents.

In an act to sell his podcast, Mikel obi has become something else entirely..
Like what is wrong with this young man?. With the amount of money he made, couple with current exchange rate, he should be doing a whole lot more for his family and extended fam, instead of telling the whole world that they are pest
He was not talking about his family members though...that was just an illustration. Also, everything he said was right. Most family members are preys. You would be surprised how many players are dying inside because of his issue.

Perhaps Sunday Oliseh must be stvpid to assume home-based players could do the job too?! LOL!

Yeah we ought to question the IQ behind assuming the home based who lost to the world class Togolese & Cape-Verde homebased at WAFU level and has not been able to qualify to consecutive CHANs can do the job.

I LOL thrice

Even the SA they will love to fear have been abysmal at CHAN level and Afcon inspite of the "perceived" positives. Yet someone will come here and be talking average players and money as if it is Euros we are talking about

"freak results like this happens " yes, but when the results from such lowly rated teams becomes a constant occurance, then you know you have a big problem which needs to be fixed
Or you might just turn out to be a lowly rated team too

Like I said before, Peseiro is probably intimidated by the number of attackers we have, that's why he jas neglected other areas of the team especially the midfield...

The Poster is right. We keep adding fws like we can play more than 2 together at a time. Iheanacho has no reason playing on the wing, but that empty-headed coach just wanna play his stars at all cost.

I can't ever imagine a combo of Onyeka and Iwobi as midlfiled pivot in a 4-4-2 formation. What that nigga is smoking? Can't believe I was supporting him before the game.
