Amokachi in one of our games said aina has the qualities to be one of the best in the world in his position

Aina na baller

But he seem to just switch off sometimes.

He gives Mercelo vibes when he is on the ball.

Let's start our next game with the same defensive set up as it ended.. Calvin as LB.. Omeruo is experienced enough to handle
I watched a clip where Iwobi said that the idea is to defend from the front. Osimhen is awesome

Since the beginning of the tournament everyone can see how hard lookman has been working even defensively and it's paying off for him 2goals and 1 assist in this tournament. Chukwueze can also look at lookman and work hard also .... And some idiots will say foreign borns doesn't know what it takes to play for super eagle shame on them .

Noooo!! He’s not good. Thus saith our noble admin. 😅😅

He has evolved and been an absolute beast of a defender in this tournament. I'm happy to be proven wrong.

Still, it's petty of you to think I'll ban you over a difference in football opinions.

but why he no show us this defensive side all this while? you sef know say if not for the uproar, Nwabili no for dey this tourney.. and that won't give our super defenders confidence. all our opponents go dey resort to shots on Uzoho.. I will say things are all playing out for good so far. But I won't give all the credits to this man.. because the man stubbornly wanted to stick with Uzoho and didn't want to change his formation his formation until very recently. E don tey when we dey clamor for a back 3 formation. Even during Rohr's era we said it here.

Peseiro must be talking to somebody with sense. cheesy

minfelix:

bros with all due respect abeg, use another lesser word than this harsh “INEPT” you used…oga we played our arch-Afcon rival and they didn’t score a goal against us for the first time..them no see 1short on target…at this point peseiro is a excellent coach

Lookman is not a foreign born. He was born in Nigeria and played soccer for Naija before he left for England.

As for Chukwueze, he has been poor.

I just dey salivate if to say ndidi dey fit
We are gradually solving and playing to our strength. One can actually play around with our midfielders. Ndidi, alhassan, onyeka, Iwobi, onyedika.
This is lovely. The good thing about the formation is that it sooths players like osihmen and Lookman that wants to express themselves and run.
One player that would have been lovely in this formation is boniface playing simon position. I can imagine what will be going on in peserio 's mind post afcon.
