Odunayaw:They are very carefull and their predictions cover all scenarios. If we win, they will bring out the prediction that supports it. If we lose, they will bring out the prediction that supports it too. My former boss once told me about a corrupt judge. He'd write two judgments. Who bribes him determines the judgment he delivers 😂😂😂 |

AIG07: You get? They performed beyond expectations, so, all these people talking crap on this thread are just irritating my soul. The sheer levels of ingratitude! Do we have a better team than Morroco? Do we have a better team than Algeria? What about Senegal or Mali? Is our team better than theirs? Yet, people are here crying nonsense and complaining about nonsense. I no even blame them, shebi na Super Eagles players drag themselves reach finals? I'm proper irritated, because these people complaining, if dem give you ball kick, you go lost. Even for their work place, no be them be top performers, but their mouth dey sharp for players wey exceed expectations. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Barryseal:This sort of craveness na wa. Here you go again. I ask: did we lost this match because of our lack of humility? So if we'd been humble, we would have won? Point out one single instance of boastfulness on the part of the players and the coach? Did you not read Ivorians boasting they'd win because it's written in the stars? Omo your way of judging things is baffling. 1 Like |

Your words are not true from analytical viewpoints. His press resistance alone and quick Ability to switch plays won't let the Ivorians near him in the middle for all phases of plays. The fact is the player who played the role in that middle for Nigeria underperformed because he is not a natural for that deep role. Nwakali is. Take it or leave it... He would have shone where Iwobi failed. forgiveness: 3 Likes 1 Share |

Personally I think this team should be disbanded, except for only Osimhen, Nwabali, Ekong, Onyeka and maybe Aina...time to bed in the likes of Orban, Akinsanmiro, Eletu, Igoh Ogbu etc into the team ASAP...we pretty much lucked our way into the final so it is what it is...also time to phase out the likes of Iwobi, Chukwueze, Simon, Musa- thanks for your services but it's time for fresh ideas Congrats to CIV, it was always written in the stars for them to be champions so I'm not pained. We go again next year. 1 Like |

MetalJigsaw:The coach's game plan limited Iwobi. Peseiro's plan was to loop the ball from the defense to attack and the midfield to try recover the ball when it didn't get through, that might be the reason Onyeka had a more advanced role: to recover the ball and make forward drives, since he has more pace and is also better defensively. Iwobi's role wasn't as loud, that's why many didn't notice. 1 Like |

Curtisaxel17: Why won't I criticise bad leaders when their policies affect me? And who told you I have not engaged in politics? You follow me dey last year when I was canvassing for Peter Obi before Tinubu and friends stole election? How does Super Eagles losing or winning affect your life? You see how stupid your analogy is. Super Eagles are not controlling economy, they are not the ones making dollar 1,500 Naira. Nothing a football team does can affect my life the way policies from government can. Once again, if you no fit wear boot go replace Nwabali, find another thing to talk. "We must keep looking..." who be the we? Who sabi you? Go wear gloves enter pitch. Nwabali is good enough for us for now, better than what we have had in 5 years, but you can keep trekking in search of Casillas. 4 Likes 1 Share |

African cerebral midfielders aren't trusted enough for top clubs when their white counterparts simply can do the cerebral jobs. They always look to African midfielders who are brawny and highly physical to come do the dirty work. This is why you have most of such MFs in good clubs in Europe. forgiveness: 3 Likes |

Good run from our players , we saw determination ,unity ,love and sense of purpose which has been lacking in our football for a while. We were not perfect, yet got to the final. That is the beauty of this beautiful run which we should not deprive ourselves of enjoying. Even when we had great footballing legs in africa , we got used to bronze. With proper player upgrade , we will enjoy our football as a nation again. I am not happy about the outcome ,but many football pundits , analysts ,fans , fanatics , home base lovers , foreign based player converter lovers, never saw us in the finals including my novice me. LOUDLY SPEAKING,THIS HAS BEEN OUR BEST RUN ,AFTER 2013 AFCON. 1 Like 1 Share |
