2) Nigerians have won afcons yet they have just three trophies while Ghana has four ? why?

3) Nigeria has been qualifying for Chan for years now but you have never made it to the finals. why? your best was a semi-final which Ghana beat you with 10 men on penalties. again why?

Honestly am not getting u wrongly, that was d reason i used Jayjay as an example. When Jayjay and Kanu were in his age they couldn't carry d team again, picking matches to play for us.

I got your point,a younger Obi Mikel at this stage should have been better and this is d reason i said some get mature as they are aging, may be he is not exceptional from this syndrome.

Just believe Mikel is getting mature and taking alot of responsibilty .. If you could remember how people tagged young Mikel... That's forming injuries during his hot days in Chelsea... 2010 come to mind...

Is the most hated player then...

He's working his way to become indisputable legend... He now has a calling... Lol

Again, this is not a jab at northern players but I have made my point and I will stop here.
Sanni Kaita was a fantastic defensive player before he ruined his career...One of my favourite. I don't need to tell you I am not a tribalist, I have a track record. Go through my post history.

Icon4s permit me to give the man some relevance. He might vex if I don't grin

1) Reaching the quarter final of the world cup isn't really something worth celebrating. if u were that good u could have made it to the semi final in 2014 after your 2010 feat. but u didn't grin We on the other hand have reached the knockout stage 3 times out of five.. that's not really good but its an improvement. mind u its 3 out of 5. Talk more of those countries that have qualified more than 10 times over..

2) Lmao.. We won two of the three AFCON in the modern era.. The last time ur Ghana won the AFCON..only 8 countries participated so I suppose it was pretty easy to win it grin grin. Our chance of winning a fourth title is far higher than your chance of winning a 5th..I mean for Pete sake u have been qualifying for it since 1982 grin

3) We have qualified for the CHAN only twice but ur country has been there three times..why didn't you win it?? grin

This is the last time I will reply you..Do have a good day

Having opened his goalscoring account for Bologna, he became the sixth youngest Nigerian player to score in the history of the Italian Serie A, and the fourth youngest player to score in the Italian top-flight this season.

The previous record was held by former Inter Milan wonderkid Obafemi Martins, who scored in his team's 1-1 draw with Atalanta on May 3, 2003 aged 18 years,6 months and 5 days.

Hugo Enyinnaya (Bari), Umar Sadiq (Roma), Christian Obodo (Perugia) and Odion Ighalo (Udinese) complete the top seven youngest Nigerians to score in the Serie A.

Leon Balogun Hails Black Stars For Beating Nigeria & Sparks Jollof Rice Debate
Mainz central defender Leon Balogun showed his sportsmanship by congratulating the Black Stars in the wake of their 4-1 thrashing of the Super Eagles in the final of the WAFU Cup on Sunday night.

And he has sparked a debate over which of the the two countries make the best Jollof rice, a rice dish popular in most West African countries, stating that Nigeria cook the best Jollof rice.

Goals from Stephen Sarfo (2), Vincent Atingah and Winnful Cobbinah secured a win for the Black Stars, while Rabiu Ali scored the pick of the goals in second half stoppage time.

Writing on Twitter, German-born Balogun stated : ''Well, what can I say. Nigeria’s lost, Ghana’s won, but our jollof’s still the no.1 Congrats Black Stars, well deserved ✊''.

Leon Balogun has earned 10 international caps for the Super Eagles since making his debut against Mexico in 2014.

The 29-year-old was included in the ceremonial CAF XI for match day three and four in the World Cup qualifiers.

Nigeria: Moses Looks Forward to 200th Game Against Man Utd

Victor Moses.
Barring an injury or loss of form, Victor Moses is set to hit an impressive Premier League milestone when Chelsea take on Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on November 5, 2017.

If the Nigeria international gets some game-time in the next five matches, he would have made 200 appearances in the English top-flight.

Moses has played for five different clubs in the Premier League : Chelsea, Wigan Athletic, Liverpool, West Ham United and Stoke City.

The former England U17 sensation made his debut in the English top-flight on February 6, 2010, when he replaced Hugo Rodallega in the 83rd minute as Wigan Athletic played out a 1-1 draw with Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

Moses made 74 appearances in total for Wigan Athletic in the Premier League before transferring to Chelsea, for whom he has made 62 appearances including Saturday's 4-0 win at Stoke City.

The 26-year-old recorded 21 appearances for West Ham and 19 each while wearing the jerseys of Liverpool and Stoke City.

The right wing-back will join Shola Ameobi, Nwankwo Kanu, Yakubu Aiyegbeni, John Obi Mikel, Joseph Yobo and Victor Anichebe, who have all made 200 appearances or more in the Premier League, in the Nigerian history books if the milestone is achieved against Manchester United.

Super Eagles winger Victor Moses made his fifth English Premier League (EPL) start of the season for Chelsea who outclassed Stoke City 4-0 at the bet365 stadium on Saturday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
At the Liberty Stadium, Tammy Abraham’s goal was not enough for Swansea who lost 2-1 to Isaac Success’ Watford. Success was an unused substitute in the encounter.
Wilfred Ndidi made his sixth straight start for Leicester City who lost 3-2 to Liverpool. His compatriot Kelechi Iheanacho came on in the 74th minute but could not salvage a point for the Foxes.
Ahmed Musa was not listed for the encounter. The former CSKA Moscow star is yet to feature for Leicester this season in the EPL.
In the English Championship, Hope Akpan was introduced in the 75th minute for Jay Allen in Burton Albion’s goalless draw away to Queens Park Rangers.
In another Championship fixture, Sone Aluko provided an 87th minute assist for Jon Boedvarsson to earn Reading a share of the spoils in their 1-1 draw against Hull City. It was his fourth game since he joined the club. Nigeria defender Ola Aina, who is on loan from Chelsea, was in action for all 90 minutes for Hull.
In Italy, Sadiq Umar watched from the substitutes bench as Torino lost 4-0 to Juventus in the Turin derby on Saturday. Umar is yet to play this season while his compatriot Joel Obi was missing due to injury.
In Spain, Kayode Olanrewaju failed to get on the score sheet in his fifth Spanish La Liga Santander appearance for Girona who lost 3-0 to Barcelona at the Montilivi stadium.
Leon Balogun in Training for Mainz
In the German Bundesliga, Leon Balogun was benched in Mainz 1-1 at home to Hertha Berlin. Balogun has made four starts this season for Mainz.
In Holland, Tyrone Ebuehi was on the winning side with ADO Den Haag who edged Sparta Rotterdam 1-0.
In the Belgian Jupiler League, Henry Onyekuru was not listed for Anderlecht who beat Waasland Beveren 2-1. Onyekuru has scored four goals in seven appearances in all competitions for Anderlecht.
In the Scottish League, Efe Ambrose led Hibernian to a 1-0 win over Ross County.
