Let’s go back to playing in Lagos. These other cities are uninspiring to these guys

In passing the ball YES

In positioning and working with defenders, yes.

I pray and sincerely hope we don't qualify, so that lizard of a coach will be fired ASAP!!

Thats quite harsh and unfair. How do we grow if we don't believe in our own. Blame it on clueless NFF that hired a coach a few days to a crucual qualifiers match

Wasn't there VAR in the stadium.
The Nigerian players didn't even protest enough for it

That foul on Dele Bashiru was a clean penalty.

The Super Eagles passing and ball distribution is pretty poor at this level. In fact, the whole team was pretty mediocre. Even all the hustle and the energy we saw at the AFCON was lacking today. Why did Paul stayed in the field for more than 80 minutes when we have Moffi and Boniface on the bench?

"Gotten the result they wanted"

Saying the boys played well will not kill you. It is lies that is toxic

No they did not, what happened when the result was in balance, the better team dominated, reset the match and you'll get the same result

The push for home based players by the NFF is a distraction. If Finidi can get his selection right, we may qualify eventually. E still hard sha

Tinneh:

Tbh I was impressed by the gameplay, it was way better than any game we played in the last afcon, but it's obvious this team still needs more decent midfielders, we need someone that can bench iwobi during games...
Finidi got it all wrong in his line up, Iheanacho is washed and shouldn't be starting games for us moving forward, I'm also at dilemma at why he started and left onuachu for so long in this game

We talk about the depth of strikers we have, but players like onuachu keep getting callups. When I'll give up on this coach is if he starts Onuachu next match.

It would have been better we lost one and win two.
Unbeaten takes us nowhere

A starting 11with Onuachu.😏

Onuachu out.... for 1 or 2 reasons. He lacks pace and doesn't contribute anything to the cause of the team. When ball gets to him he gets dispossessed by players half his size

Chukwueze should have been introduced earlier.... He did a lot within few minutes he came in. Look man and chukwueze should man the wing in d next game

Chukwueze has improved

Onyedika should be starting

Fisayo might just take Iwobi's place

Iheanacho has no business in the squad for now

I really don't know what's wrong with moffi

Tanimu shouldn't be invited again

Too error prone, no build up play, too rash in the tackle, Ndidi is not top 3 defenders we have

Yup. I said exactly the same thing on Twitter. That was a clear penalty every day and twice on Sunday. And I hope that the NFF will file a petition for that missed call.

I was surprised that a game of that magnitude didn’t have VAR.

With Finidi as coach we will not win against Benin. Sack him before tomorrow morning.

Na our group open pass only 3 points separating the team at the top and the one at the bottom.
Sadly we're currently occupying 5th position out of 6 cry

The South Africans were happy with the draw even though our guys played better in the second half barring the phobia for scoring.

they didn’t get the result they wanted, why didn’t they just park the bus from the start? At 1-1 they were still coming but we also played with more aggression and better use of the ball

These guys play their best in Europe and come acting like dummies in Nigeria jersey. Am disappointed in them

Don't be .... they need to gel as a team. One thing that has always given South Africa confidence against us is they know that at each and every point in time we always present a hurriedly assembled team that has not gelled at all. Their tactics is simple... don't allow Naija to gel. O ce that happens and we settle, they know it's gonna be problem. They know we have assemblage of stars but not a team

Barely opened Twitter for a min and you have dolts railing on Iwobi
