Impressive stats. Iwobi is gradually becoming the player we'd hoped he'd become.

I didn't say he has become, I said he's gradually becoming. And no, not after one game. He has been improving steadily despite little game time.

I will have Iwobi start ahead of Simon against Zambia. Simon is better against less tactical but physical teams like Cameroon. But against tactical and less physical teams, I will prefer Iwobi. Even Simon did not impress against the same Zambians in the first leg because Zambians are a tactical side. Iwobi performed better than Simon in that encounter and even got a goal and created some good chances. For those saying he has been poor against African teams, he struggled against physical sides, but not against less physical teams like Zambia from the south. We shouldn't use the South African game as a yardstick because the team was generally unimpressive that day. Zambia is a tactical side, not physical. Iwobi will fare better against them. It only took Ndidi's long throw and some brilliant exchange of passes from Mikel, Iheanacho, Ideye and Iwobi to unlock their defense the last time, not some kind of direct football that Simon plays.

SWEDEN: Allsvenskan - Round 26

Malmo FF 2-0 Halmstad
Malmo did not need to pull Innocent Bonke off the bench, as they won comfortably at home.
Bonke has only managed a total of 16 minutes on the pitch since he joined them in August.

AIK 5-2 Elfsborg
Chinedu Obasi, who is pressing for an improved deal with AIK, started from the bench in the 77th minute in their home win. .

Olebro 1-0 Kalmar
Kennedy Igboananike scored for Olebro for a third time in a row. His lone goal guaranteed Olebro took the maximum points. He was subbed off in the 81st minute for Michael Omoh.

Ostersunds 0-0 Hacken
Alhaji Gero (Ostersunds) served his match ban after he was sent off in the previous round.

Ex Rangers International forward, Chisom Egbuchalam remained in Hacken's bench.

There is nothing cute about this comment, you really need to respect people's view on issues which may differ from your own point of view. Despite the fact I cringe about some things mickael2 says about Onazi but I still find them illuminating when I try to reason from his point of view. please eschew from all these unnecessary diatribes
I wasn't trying to be cute with my comment. I gat your point but I ain't gat time for it. I don't like the way he always wanna downplay Mikel achievements despite the fact that it is clear and visible to everyone including alien lol. I don't know why he keep doing this or what he wanna gain from this. Anyway, out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh. That's just the way it is. I don rest

To be honest,we didnt really play very well against Zambia but the early goals gave us the boost. I just finished watching Nigeria vs Cameroon and Zambia and I had to be very thorough to detect all the misses,pass,tackles..etc. Ekong is a serious weak link in both Zambia and Cameroon. Dude, panics alot and loses and gives away passes. Same with Omeruo,Mikel. We need better cohesion. I wouldnt play Mikel in AM position,CM yea but not AM.

Ajibade, Ijamilusi Grab Two Each As Nigeria Demolish Tanzania 6-0 In WCQNigeria's Falconets whitewashed their Tanzanian counterparts 6-0 to zoom to the next round of the 2018 FIFA U20 Women's World Cup qualifiers.

The second leg tie was played in Dar es Salaam on Sunday.

Four goals in the first half and two in the second half were enough to earn the Falconets the massive win.

Rasheedat Ajibade opened the scoring in the 20th minute before making it a brace for herself six minutes later.

Midfielder Folashade Ijamilusi and big striker Anam Imo registered their names on the score sheet as the first half ended 4-0 in favour of Nigeria.

Ijamilusi and substitute Cynthia Aku fetched the two other goals to complete the 6-0 mauling of the Tanzania.

Nigeria had won the first leg in Benin City by 3-0 and completing the task by 6-0 means the Falconets will face Morocco in the next round of the qualifiers.

Mickael2:
Yes he was their captain at some point but in no way is/was he a Madrid legend. That is the thing, just because you play very well for a team over a long stretch does not automatically make you a legend. Hierro would probably make it into the best 50 madrid players ever but that does not make him a club legend, Mikel wouldn't even make it into Chelsea's top 50 players(he probably should though but he is black)

Fernando hierro is a Madrid legend no argument about that.
