I wonder when this foreign born will learn

Bro, the real issue is the NFF. If they made playing for SE something attractive do you think the likes of Tosin, Eze, Tomori and the rest would not rush us?

Unpaid bonuses, substandard accommodation, godfatherism, bribery, etc.

We mismanage our talent, do them bad and then expect them to be patriotic. No naaa, you have to give people a reason to be proud. We cannot keep living in the 90s. It’s even more painful because someone like Eze trained with the SE some years ago (along with Aina).

When we do the needful as an FA, these players go dey rush us. Create the right environment and the players will come.

Can Adeyemi still play for Nigeria? I thought he was cap-tied to Germany already based on FIFA rules.

I think he’s country tied now.

4 games in and Osimhen is already injured?!

Wow.

Osimhen’s injury record is what I truly believe put many big clubs off him. Spending €100M for a striker that gets injured regularly is not a good investment.

Part of being elite, world class is being ready for selection. That’s why you have to give CR7 his props. His longevity is top notch.

It reminds me of the sports adage.

“The best ability, is availability” and being very honest, Osimhen’s availability is spotty.

This is just the truth.

Elfsborg of Sweden beat Roma in the Europa League today. That is the same team 18 Year old Vince Osuji was up against with Kalmar just 4 days ago in the Swedish Allsvenskan. Osuji put up a passing Masterclass against them.

Keep a keen eye on that Osuji lad. He is a huge pearl. A CB prospect with a high ceiling.

we have to be honest, these kids were brought up, and trained, and huge resources were invested into them by the country where they domicile, it's only natural that country will be their first choice for the country to get their ROI. If we are lucky, fine but seriously no sentiments.

Cyriel Dessers got another assist in today's Europa League match against Lyon. He now has 7 goals and 4 assists in 12 appearances for Rangers this season. 🔥😎🔥

This is obviously noted but aside it, Spain actually are in need of a younger and more dominant Number 9. Samuel Omorodion Aghehowa fits the bill.

A NT that has Aging Morata, Oyarzabal as CF options will definitely eat good with Omorodion.

We will see an all black Spanish front 3 in due time. Nico-Samu-Yamal.

We have Osimhen, Boniface, Awoniyi, Akor Adams, Moffi, etc. There is still young Orban and Arokodare. And we may have a chance with George Ilenikhena. I need not go on.

Spain have who? Morata and a wing forward who plays as a CF, Oyarzabal. Omorodion is most certainly Spain-bound.

Spain would be foolish to pass over Omorodion.

But have you also noticed we've not had any Nigerian blooded player win the world cup like many of the french speaking African nations. Even Ghana has Marcel Desali for France and Jerome Boateng for Germany win the world cup. I feel like with our population and our football love , it's long over due. And if we will stand a chance for this, the most likely nation to give us this glory is England. Maybe Jamal Musiala or Michael Olise can achieve this in their respective teams.
Naaa I don't consider the French team full of blacks to be a French team. I hate multiculturalism.

Multiculturalism is the white man's fault. He is even responsible for the artificial creation of modern Africa with several tribes joined together to form a nation.
The intellectual arrogance if the white man where he thinks he can think for everybody shapes the modern world in everyway

Just telling my colleague in the office that I don't blame England oo for wanting to have a taste of these players but as a player you have to analyze the history of England in such matters as well as the potential effect of choosing either England or Nigeria based on your level of skill and the needs of both teams

In a certain sense Nigeria is a more successful footballing nation than England. We have 3 continental titles. I don't think they have any. Their last major tournament achievement was in 1966.

See Ademola is in pole position to become Apoty just less than 5 years of switching.

My point is: use your head, player, use your head.
I get your point but thing is, when england comes calling it is very difficult to reject,
cuz they've been in the English set-up from childhood or at least from their formative years (footballing wise), and Thus dreaming of one day playing for that national team,
It's easier for us to say "choose Nigeria"
because we're not in their shoes...

They never learn. They allow the glitz of playing for England to trump the impact they can make by playing for us.
I believe a reorientation is needed for such players, sighting Ademola look, iwobi etc as example for them to follow

Ethan Mbappe leading the dressing room celebrations for Lille's BIG DEAL win vs his big brother's Real Madrid was epic.

Ethan Mbappe didn't play as he is nursing injury but his side owned Kylian Mbappe and Real.

EPIC.
maybe we should approach the younger Mbappe 👀
