Boss na Libya 🇱🇾 we wan follow play na..no be tanimu go be d determinant of d outcome whether he’s invited or not

Meanwhile I doubt AE will taste d same fate of finidi cos these guys re ready to play for him and Dey respect him ..one of the major aspect dt makes a coach work easy is having majority of the players to ur side if not all, once u av dt,ur job as a coach is 60percent done, d remaining rest on ur tactical ability and luck of d day .This was what played against finidi ,d team was not on his side.Even if u re guardiola ,he would likely fail if his players are against him

Don't underrate any country,
Let's see how things play out.

But u still don't get it.
Certain things are also capable of affecting players commitments and readiness to continue playing for their coaches.

That name Tanimu, apart from not being good enough, he is like a bad luck,I don't know how to explain it to u.

Igoh Ogbu is also injured.

semid4lyfe:
Alhassan Yusuf: Decent. Though not physically imposing, he's a good ball holder and passer, can advance our play, break down opponent attacks with good anticipation, positioning and interceptions.

He was undoubtedly our most impressive player in our first game against Equatorial Guinea at the AFCON and had decent showing in all the subsequent appearances he made from the bench.

Perhaps, not worthy of a starting berth but definitely a good squad player and one that can be relied upon when the need arises. His moving to MLS hasn't reduced his quality so I'm glad he's in the team.

Benjamin Tiaminu = Error and babanla otu. I blame Finidi George for him ever donning our jersey and the continuing charade by AE. Igoh Ogbu is a better and more deserving player.

Kelechi Iheanacho &:Taiwo Awoniyi: Based on current form, both should have been dropped. I was hoping to see Akor Adams & Tolu Arokodare (Elijah Adebayo) make the list.

AE don dey do the typical local coach jibiti

I can understand his choice of player selection on the basis of trying to play it safe because this is a major double header qualifier with little or no time to experiment significantly with new faces- considering how fast and heavy the international breaks are scheduled, so the inclusions of the regular mainstay faces like Awoniyi, Iheanacho and even Tanimu etc (despite their poor club forms) can be understandable and perhaps excused...if that's Eguavoens real excuse, then I can forgive and understand it...otherwise if it's another typical local coach jibiti of cushioning "paddy-paddy" as a basis of player selections at the expense of merit, then we have serious cause to be worried.

I'll reserve my judgements on Eguavoen because he's still interim, and has done really well so far with results and style of football which majority of Nigerian fans can agree to, if he's fully given the job then we will see his real team selections going forward...truth is I still feel safer with Eguavoen as the coach than a brand new coach when we return to face the murky world cup qualifier
fixtures next year...there's really no time to stake our world cup chances on a new coach who might need more time to harmonize this team.

I completely understand you bros
But I see AE doesn't want to distort the harmony of this team and understandably so..
We shouldn't tinker too much because of the high stakes of these games
If you noticed, AE also smartly reverted to something close to the system JP used most of the AFCON, because the players were used to that system
Finidi tried to be inventive but failed.
AE seems to have learned from that
It's about stability for now because of the high stakes of these games, which I think is wisdom..
When we have friendly matches, we can invite everybody

Exactly, friendly games should be used to try out new players. Most folks forget that the qualifiers are competitive games that can't be toyed with. My only worry is that we struggle to score without an osimhen, I hope we break the jinx this time around.

I've always wondered who will score for us if Osimhen no play... Like I don't have any dependable goal getter in the SE.

Iheanacho dey try.
Chukwueze no try at all for goals.
Iwobi, not a goal scorer club and country
Onuachu - only goal I know is Egypt.
S. Moses. (impressive imo) maybe 1 or 2 goals.
Awoniyi. Big name. 1 goal in 7-8 matches.
Aribo.. After Brazil friendly, zero goal.
Ndidi.. Well, not expected to score.
Dessers... ⚽ 🥅 =🙆🙆
Moffi - - 1 or 2 goals.
Sadiq - -😭😭

Ademola Lookman says Hi smileyHe has scored about 6 goals in his last 10 apps for the SE.

Since the beginning of Afcon, he has become a Main Man. It's now if Osimhen no score, Lookman go score.

I hope Boniface can cook ASAP.

I'm not happy with the list, but, I wouldn't use that as an opportunity to blast local coaches.

We saw how Rohr made Shehu feel like that RB Position was his birthright.

This man kept on inviting Uche Agbo for years without giving him a second of action. He was inseparable with Mikel Agu.

The consistency at being foolish from this dude is amazing.

All these egunje clowns are just funny. Imagine reducing afcon performance and Europa league final against a team that hasn’t lost a game last season prior to that day to “only”.

Eguavoen has gotten it wrong this time around with the inclusion of Taminu and Alhassan.
It's likely to produce the same effect and result as Finidi's tenure especially with the absence of Osimhen.

This will probably be Eguavoen last stints with the super eagles job.
He may have been compromised.

Those who are given Ndah's injury as an excuses for including Tanimu don't really get it,the same as with those who are sounding very confident that we are going to get good results without Osimhen.

Good luck to SE.
compromised? Because of Tanimi? Did you feel this way when Rohr invited a nonleague player from Germany?

Northern factor was involved in Yusuf's case. Be like say Tanimu case na South south something. But come to think of it, Tourinagha was only capped once (was he even capped?). Since then the guy has been snubbed. Same with Akpoguma. What's going on abeg?

Everytime northern factor. What about kelechi iheanacho’s inclusion? Isn’t it eastern factor?

if he was a local coach I’m sure they’ll say he’s collecting bribe, Rohr was regularly dropping Aina for Shehu, even though we had Osimhen and Taiwo he was almost on his knees begging Ighalo who was playing in Saudi to come back

Yes Boniface must do what he does for his club for eagles,so far 8 appearances no goal….well Lookman in the last 10 matches has shown he can do it.

The factor that makes boniface bang in goals for his club needs to be studied by AE and his crew. They may have to tweak something somewhere or a pep talk with the player. If not folks will continue blaming his social media antics (which has proven to be untrue) for his inability to score for the national team. For me sha boniface will get his goals eventually the question is just when.

Coachee, are you sure that Tanimu hasn't replaced Awaziem as that one player who always gets invited but has no impact whatsoever on the team

Bro saying Alhassan is northern influenced na rubbish talk, same as trying to compare iheanacho, Awoniyi to Alhassan or Taminu situation. Especially nacho with one of the best scoring rate for eagles, one time star boy of the team. Yes oh, he has lost form but no be to compare him to a 3rd division player.

I believe tanimu wont last long if his club and playing situation doesn’t change, remember d first time he was called up to replace an injured player…so if ndah is fit for d next games or a better player shows up, he won’t be invited .

I once said that apart from Osimhen we have no reliable goal scorers. Lookman is doing a good job though but I mean that in the absence of Osimhen no one playing in his position is reliable.
