"My Stamina Improved After My Mum Introduced Fufu To Me In UK ."

-Ademola Lookman

"Growing up in the U.K, I was used to eating a lot of junk foods cos it's something very handy without wasting your time.

One day my mum followed me to the pitch where I play soccer with other kids at the age of ten, she noticed how I easily fell down when being shoved by other kids when contesting for the ball.

After the match, she told me "Ademola my son, I am not impressed by the way you fall when playing football. You are a Nigerian child and you should have the stamina of a Nigerian"

The next day, my mother introduced "Fufu" to my diet, at first I didn't like it because of the fowl smell, but as I ate it with ewedu soup, I could see the results as my stamina increased.

Now I am here, how can I have make it this far without eating Fufu? I will always represent Nigeria❤️"
what’s the source of this interview? Looks like those fake Facebook posts

Our team is aging shocked

With no player below the age of 20', we need some fresh legs.
true, no quality young winger around, even full backs I can’t think of any

Why is nobody talking about how Hakimi came along with a private jet and psg owner accompanying him to the caf awards ….
I’m sure he must have been told he was going to win it ahead of lookman just to make the award competitive grin grin

Chukwueze has a serious attitudinal problem. If he has osimhens determination, he will succeed but he is just too lazy and laid back.
He is more naturally talented than ademola lookman but he is not intelligent and he does not want to improve on his weaknesses.
Anyway they won't sell him this January as they need players but if he does nothing by summer, he may be sold.
He is just too inconsistent and laid back. He needs to improve.

My God! I'm having goosebumps watching this. I mean most of them are not even Nigerians to say this. I sometimes worry that we are so patriotic here that it shrouds objectiveness. But hearing outsiders feel this way about Nigeria's true potential and strength if we qualify for a world cup is lovely . Because God knows if this group of boys get a good hand of a manager, he will craft out signs and wonders from them in the next world cup. Watch them at the next AFCON . All we need is another good manager because we got a team that will beat a Moroccan team on their home turf in the finals. This boys got experience.

I see that sparkles in Eguavone's eyes. And I have seen him looking confused lately. He can be timid. What we need is a coach with a decent amount of crazy sparkles to really tweak this team we got and we are gonna be world beaters.
I really pray we qualify for this world cup. I know it's so hard and tough judging by our current group position.

But then when we do qualify I'd remember this post again. And I really be grateful to God. Because the world cup isn't something to miss for the super eagles to miss twice.

Our players just need to be more committed and play with more intensity like they do at their club sides. For God’s sake they are not amateurs but professionals who understand the technicalities of the game. Coaching is not just the main thing but right attitude from the players

AC Milan are willing to offer both Noah Okafor and Samuel Chukwueze to Aston Villa in exchange for Jaden Philogene.

They’re just giving him playing time not to reduce his market value. He will be sold soon. Another player that didn’t materialize his potential yet. Very inconsistent

They are playing him because Pulisic and Musah are injured

Chuckwueze naturally talented than Lookman?...I think we rated these players based on their under 17 exploits and the bars were raised too high for them.... initially I thought Chuckwueze was better than Saka.

Sir Kog, that Adingra example no gel. Why? Cos at least the Manager picked a player that outperformed his own allllll rounda by farr..

Our manager is choosing someone that hasn't even outperformed his own best player that later won APOTY this year. i had to use even because there's no sane place that his choice was based on merit.

His choice didn't even perform up to the top 15 of the Balon d'or.

Fae can still choose his player for national purposes and that wont be a problem, but Looku was far ahead.

Messi is not faar ahead to be picked as 1st choice. Does not make sense even if he's chosen him.
Did AE voted out of FIFA best men list....Messi was on the list so he has every right to pick him,so no need for us nailing him on his choice.

Messi was ranked 6th best so nothing wrong with AE decision.

I repeat if it's other way round Ivorian coach would be condemned for picking Lookman ahead of his country man.

not picking your country man that is in the final list for an award is really crazy. One Nigerian journalist and prepetual( not really sure)were once dragged for not voting for asisat one year like that. The fact that the person is in the final list means that he is good enough to win. That is not the time to be logical

Not voting countryman is a norm. The votes that AL got from Balon d'or shows countries with coaches that picked him normally in their top picks. Cos of merit.

It just proves that AE choice is not by merit and that shows a lot about him.

We all know why messi is still relevant and it has nothing to do with performance again. So why him? What happened to others better than him?

Why those two were dragged is because they used the sentiments and not merit to sidelines Zee. It is the other side of this dialogue. AE picked cos of sentiment. Those two, Nkwocha and Osasu picked based on sentiments as well, sidelining the one that merit.

They can be in the final list, but it does mean all are equal. Especially with Afcon. Only few times we saw hugely contested and tight final 3.

This year's own was never tight. Gap yapa like craze

Pls I'm confused here. Ademola Looman wasn't nominated for the FIFA the best men's best player award. Why are people here now angry that Eguaveuon voted Messi and not Lookman as if Lookman was nominated in the first instance.
