Apparently that allegedly 4 nation tourney (England, Jamaica, Ghana and Nigeria) is a false

I don’t think England is part of d tournament..heard it’s Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹

Lol South Africa started building what we are seeing before the last Afcon, even during the Afcon you could see their progress, forget SA has gone beyond beyond Nigeria and the full result of what they are building will come in the next world cup

I can’t lie, I was frustrated. That match against Zimbabwe? We should have won it. We had the lead, we controlled the game, and then just like that, we let it slip.

When I scored, I felt relief. I thought, "Yes, this is it. We’re taking the three points home." But football can be cruel. A last-minute equalizer, just seconds away from victory, shattered everything. The whistle blew, and I just couldn’t hold back my emotions.

Boniface tried to calm me down, but at that moment, I didn’t want to hear anything. I walked away, not out of disrespect, but because I was hurting. I give my all every time I step on that pitch, not just for myself, but for my team, for Nigeria, for the fans who believe in us.

We needed that win. We needed those points. Now, we have to fight even harder to qualify for the World Cup. It’s not over, but we can’t keep making the same mistakes. I just want us to be better, to do better, because Nigeria deserves nothing less.

we need to stop drawing formations oh..
I hope Chelle is able to perfect something during that 4 nation tourney in June.

yinkeys:

Nothing is impossible
Rwanda did it
Mali with this coach did it
Start front 3
Lookman Osimhen Uche in a 3-4-3 formation
Let’s see if their father will not concede
We have better & more athletic forwards
Ejuke, Simon, Tella, Chukwueze, Orban, Dele Bashiru for reserves
South Africa will concede, forget that thing
If you watched Morocco v Belgium in the last World Cup, you’d know anything is possible if we field players on merit & with the right tactics
It’s 100% possible
We beat Ivory Coast first leg on their turf
We just have to believe provided the coach, players & NFF make no silly mistake
They need to beat Rwanda at home too

Personally I am pained, pain in d sense dat with over 200m population we are still fumbling in sport cum football. In Nigeria we are suppose to be besting any Africa nation especially in football beating anybody black and blue with such a behemoth human number but alas leadership which we are told is vertical and not horizontal has become Frankenstein in my dear country.

In our group, I want anybody to point to a country that has-a-star-like Osimhen, lookman, Calvin Bassey, Ola Aina in their team dis players have shown more like a million stars for their club but when it comes to national duty dey become lilly-livered because they can't risk it all for Nigeria for who will care for them when injury set in?

We all that are saying dis players don't put body Osimhen don stylishly let us no say him no get godfather for NFF and those who get how do you want dem to be committed? Is Nigeria worth dying for?

I am pained leadership has let our football down in dis country.

We re just been emotional about dis …we no fit qualify,we no fit beat Rwanda 🇷🇼 at home,we no fit do dis ,we no fit do dt …yinmu

Everybody here including me, still want us to qualify even if SA 3points isn’t removed…although it will be removed 😊

Don’t underestimate super eagles 🦅…we can be very unpredictable, besides 5months in football is a lot . A lot can happen in South Africa 🇿🇦 team too (loss of form, injuries etc ),same as oda teams too in d group.

Na the unpredictability make us throw away victory in the 90th minute, Coachee relax cos we are not sure if those boys want to be in the World Cup, if they are they need to show it on the pitch! This weekend in Europe you will how they will perform and you wonder if they are not the same players

To be honest oga Meli,NFF is not the reason why Nwakali is not getting invites, it's his club football.
He displayed glimpses of potential for an elite football in his youth career but have not been able to live up to to that like his friends Chukwueze and Osimhen, not even close.

What would u do if you are the coach and as one of those who placed that so much expectation on him and got disappointed?

Unless u have a godfather, ur club football is the only way to get into national team,or a coach who really believes in ur abilities is hired.
like Papa and Tanimus club football got them into the national team ☺️

Are we back to this Kelechi Nwakali matter again?
yes oh, as long as we keep allowing smaller countries dominate our midfield, the name Nwakali won't stop coming up. You guys can call it agenda if you like, but to me I still get angry whenever I see smaller countries run riot around our midfield, especially in our home games.

The result will be same with your pedestrian players. Every coach that has coached the eagles cannot be bad
.

Baba the fault is not from d players who are godson's to some cabal in d glass house.

Sir take out godfatherism from d team and see dis same players becoming a monster on d pitch.

Osimhen dat has no godfather look at d way he always work his socks off, until godfatherism and quota names are abolished we will never c a better SE.

In as much their godfather is in d glass house whether dey play or not dey know dey will be invited.

Since Afcon 2021
Luckily we found a decent goalkeeper after Ghana exposed us
Tunisia exposed Nigeria in Afcon 2021
We’ve been shaky at the back ever since that’s why Peseiro changed it
We don’t have the right personnels in the centre back positions & creative midfield
3-4-3 hid our lapses in Afcon tournament
That formation also seems much more difficult to penetrate
Before Zimbabwe scored, they had already exposed the defense
Zimbabwe missed a clear chance with no goalie in sight, we were lucky it hit the crossbar
Coach should play people in their area of specialty
Experimenting won’t cut it
South African attackers have pace & team chemistry going for them
I personally think 3-4-3 would be the best formation to play them, they can use any other types for other teams
Bassey makes funny mistakes too for Fulham
Does Tosin Adarabioyo still want to play for Nigeria, he’d have been the perfect replacement for Ekong
I hear we’d play friendlies in June against England, Jamaica, Ghana & Russia
Haven’t confirmed though

What if it’s something agreed by the coaching crew and players. It’s not today eagles coaches switch positions of players and Chelle won’t be the first eagles coach to do such, Tijani babangida said in an interview how bonfere Jo switched his position against South Africa in Afcon 2000 and we were 2-0 up in first half. So it’s nothing strange and if the game in uyo ended 1-0 not many will bothered now about changing of positions
.

I know coaches sometimes make tactical changes, but it was glaring dat Chelle was confused about d players wing. When Yusuf came in against Rwanda he committed a foul at exact place Rwanda did for Osimhen first goal.

What is d essence of having substitute when you don't want to substitute.

Sir no matter how we want to look at it Chelle make tactical blunder through his substitute.

If we won the game nobody will bother much about change of positions or substitutes. We are all just suffering from the pain of the match result. We will rather be celebrating Chelle and be abusing previous coaches if we had all the maximum points, I know us very well

He’s in the wrong generation of players, if he even gets more services, his goal tally will be more. The clubs he has played for all play to and utilise his strengths, we are yet to fully utilise it in the national team. More crosses and floating balls is needed in the box for him. This was what Yekini enjoyed in his days until his teammates started thinking otherwise
I thought that skull injury would break his spirits
Never Say Die mentality
Spiritual Stamina on steroids
Especially after watching the accident
But boy has been a monster ever since
Some of us would be ultra wealthy by now if we had that type of stubborn spirit
