FBs have the greatest chance to gatecrash. Rohr has been shopping for them. Any of them that perform well will most likely get the nod over the unimpressive experienced ones. Modified Rorh MAY want to see Aina at the right. Ebuehi at the left, and Shehu as DM. Well, that's what I would do. elyte89: 1 Like |

Based on performance Ezenwa does not deserve to go to Russia. But if we should apply sentiments considering he was there when we needed him most, then he'd take a slot. BascoVanVeli: 3 Likes |

We've seen enough of Ezenwa and Akepeyi. We already know their weaknesses and strengths. Dele Ajiboye should be given the chance in CHAN. Kog45: 4 Likes |

OWNGOAL interview (?) with Uzoho ” I did not take football serious up until the age of 13, an agent of Aspire Academy told me while I was 12 years old that I will do better as a goalkeeper because I was very tall and too slow to be a striker. ” I worked hard and two years later I was recruited to Aspire Academy as a goalkeeper, because I worked very hard after the advice, and due to my early days as a striker I find it very easy to distribute balls from the back as a goalkeeper”. The reason why I gave my suggestion on making sports compulsory from the primary school level onward, with Federal Government University primary and secondary schools as a model 1 Like |

Daejoyoung: Don't let the name "babayaro'' deceive you bro. The Irokas known as babayaros are from Imo state. They adopted the name" babayaro " for a reason best known to them because they were born and brought up in kaduna state, and they are better for it since Emmanuel is the kaduna state FA chairman. Read this excerpt from his mum's death gotten from pulse Nigeria ; Emmanuel who is currently chairman of Kaduna revealed that his mum died in their hometown of Owerri, Imo State. “She died died on Sunday at our hometown in Owerri, Imo State,” the former goalkeeper told Pulse Sports . “She died after a brief illness but we still thank God for her life. Take note of the bolded United States Call-Up For Promising Wolves Midfielder Owen Otasowie Published: November 18, 2017 United States Call-Up For Promising Wolves Midfielder Owen OtasowiePromising Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder of Nigeria descent Owen Otasowie has been invited to a United States U18 training camp by the United States Soccer Federation. The EFL Championship outfit have confirmed that Otasowie has been selected to travel to America for a training camp with the USA U18s. The teenager is among the twenty five players that will train with the USA U18s, and the only player from an English club. Otasowie was invited to train with the United States national team for players born in 2001 last season, but he couldn't honour the call-up due to club duties, but has been permitted to travel to America this time around. He penned a two-year scholarship deal with Wolverhampton Wanderers just before the start of the 2017-2018 season. This season, Otasowie has played seven games for Wolves U18s in all competitions, and wrote his name on the score-sheet against Newcastle United last month. He can also represent England's national teams. Ifeanyi Emmanuel --ANS |

tbaba1234: I still maintain that Enyeama, Ikeme and Uzoho will be our three goalkeepers in Russia That one slot at the defense, belongs to..., don't say I didn't tell u. This is so confidential but I just have to break it, talk is at advanced stage with him and he's given Rohr his words that if he remains injury free, he would honor a call up. Nff wouldn't wanna repeat same mistake that's why they have kept a sealed lip At the midfield, it will be a fit Joel Obi and Iwobi. Iwobi won't be listed as a forward. Forwards ; onyekuru will take the place of iwobi who I just took back to where he truly belongs while d remaining slot will be a battle between a fit Bazee and a rejuvenated Success Isaac. Rohr is so crazy about these two guys but while one has bn so unlucky with injuries, the other has been an unserious fellow though with an immense talent. Mho 1 Like |

You must be right. Its definitely Akpoguma or Udokhai I used to think it was Udokhai, and when I saw him pull out of d U21 I said this was it but it was for a different reason tho. Akpoguma has been quiet all the while. My instincts still tells me its Udokhai. Lets watch the endgame This will be a masterstroke if Rohr pulls this off. ChrisKels: |

I don't get you, first you said north Africans are stronger, now you're saying central? FYI, the countries you listed are still seen as "West African" and apart from Cameroon which is more of Wes African than Central, the other two aren't physically stronger than west africans. Zambia is south Mali Senegal Nigeria Chad Niger Etc have very huge, tall and strong male compared to other parts of Africa. Unlike yours, this is not an opinion but facts that you can research yourself. ykalhaji: |

I've said it time and time again, check out the bolded. Ighalo Reveals Nostalgia For Watford footballlive.ng Nov 17, 2017 1:00 PM [img]http://www.footballlive.ng/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Ighalo-left-witnh-an-official-of-Changchun-Yatai-of-China-620x620.jpg[img] Changchun Yatai of China striker, Odion Jude Ighalo has admitted that he still holds a feeling of nostalgia for his former club, Watford, as he recalls the happy days he had with The Hornets during two years he spent with the club. Though the new honorary citizen of Calgary in Canada says he has no regrets over his move to China, Ighalo says he often stays up till 3pm at his new base in order to watch Watford play in the EPL, as he still has a sfot spot for his former teammates and their fans. Ighalo also revealed that he snubbed an offer from West Bromwich Albion for him to remain in England, because the move to China was to save his career at the expense of his love for plying his trade in the English Premier League. Ighalo, whose last season with The Hornets was far from the standards he set during his debut campaign in the EPL, admitted that he struggled to cope with the new systems when Walter Mazzarri took over at Watford. Ighalo revealed: “I moved (to China) because that was what was best for me. West Brom did not meet Watford valuation but when the Chinese offered £20m, it was not bad cash for Watford. “My second season in the Premier League was not that great; we had a new manager and new system, which meant I played on the left and sometimes on the right. “It was difficult, everything was not going right and I did not find it easy. (But I still love Watford, and) I wake up 3am in China to watch Watford play, they are great team with a great manager, they can only get better.” |

Arsene Wenger hails Arsenal star Alex Iwobi for demonstrating ‘unbelievable improvement’ 17 Nov 2017 3:41 pm Arsene Wenger believes Alex Iwobi has demonstrated ‘unbelievable improvement’ in the one aspect of his game he has been critical of in the past. Iwobi delivered a coming of age performance for Nigeria in midweek, scoring twice in a 4-2 win including a stunning solo effort which saw him nutmeg Barcelona’s Javier Mascherano in the process. Wenger has been hoping to see Iwobi improve his efficiency in front of goal and believes he is ready to take a great leap forward in that department ahead of Saturday’s north London derby. He said: Before he used to rush his finishing. But his finishing against Argentina showed the composure of a guy who knows what he is doing and with his left foot as well. ‘He’s worked on his finishing and he’s improved a lot. Compared to one year ago the difference is unbelievable.’ He added: ‘We now want him to make a better quality of receptions in the final third. But it will all come because he is a boy who loves to play football who is passionate about the game and has a very good attitude. ‘He also analyses his game very well. He is enthusiastic to play and to be involved. Overall I believe it’s fantastic for Nigeria to have a player like that and I am sure they will never be disappointed by his commitment because he has a fantastic attitude, he is a pleasure to work with.’ http://metro.co.uk/2017/11/17/arsene-wenger-hails-arsenal-star-alex-iwobi-for-demonstrating-unbelievable-improvement-7087926/ 1 Like |

should this be the case come next month....meenhh only God can tell who will make it out of this group....I forbid the group though. (Photo) World Cup : Simulator Predicts Nigeria Will Face Argentina, England & Denmark In Group C Published: November 18, 2017 Nigeria could face Argentina for the fifth time in the group stage of the World Cup if the simulation of the World Cup draw conducted by allnigeriasoccer.com is anything to go by. With seven months left before the tournament begins in Russia, the only thing left is for the thirty two qualified nations to discover their opponents in the group stage. The Super Eagles were paired with Argentina, England and Denmark in Group C, while Brazil were drawn with Spain, Sweden and Australia in Group H, and the two groups are the strongest on paper. Nigeria met Argentina in the group stage at the 1994, 2002, 2010 and 2014 World Cups, losing by the odd goal on each occasion, but will fancy their chances of beating the South Americans if they cross path again in Russia after thrashing the two-time world champions 4-2 in an international friendly in Krasnodar on Tuesday. A star-studded Super Eagles featuring the likes of Austin Okocha, Finidi George,Nwankwo Kanu and Taribo West lost 4-1 to Denmark at the Stade de France in the second round of the 1998 World Cup, the only meeting between the two countries at the mundial. Fifteen years ago, the three-time African champions played out a goalless draw with England in their final group game of the World Cup. The 2018 FIFA World Cup draw will take place on December 1 at the State Kremlin Palace in Moscow, Russia.
