which best legs? So the leg that has scored 8 goals in 14 matches and assisted at least 4 should be thrown aside because his club is not playing him?

If you want to advocate for Onyekuru, you can do that without dragging one of our best performing players in this Super Eagles team or a veteran player.

I feel Ebuehi played the 3-5-2 system better than Shehu against Argentina but let us see him in more games first. He seems to recover better than Shehu though the whole team was poor in the first half.

Shehu was outstanding in the qualifiers.

We can adjust personnel depending on the approach to the game.

But I doubt if Ebuehi has the stamina because clearly in that game against Argentina he was panting so much even though he came in for the second half. Not easy to do that drill - running up and down the flanks, attacking and defending. Vicmo na baba.

Victor is one of the best wing backs in the world and he is full of energy. No wonder Conte just quickly gave him back the starting place after he returned from injury without even making him to re-compete for it.

The core of the SE emanates from the EPL no doubt.

Being in a big club and or leagues is not entirely conclusive it's indicative. However, you must be performing in that league and club to be considered all things being equal.

On the other hand being a stand out player in a lower league and club is still a basis for consideration. I remember Gomez at 18 left Charlton Athletic straight to the first team of Liverpool. From first team to England senior team crowned with MOTM against England he actually pocketed Neymar.

So I dont believe in top team and league alone. But if you are in a lower team you should really be standing out and exceptional. Which was not the case for Nwakali, Osimhen and others.

Well it's a team and it sure would have a blend of the best, good and the not so good, they can rub off on each other in a +ve way.

Not every brilliant player gets to play national team football.

I think Rohr likes his forwards to give incisive defense splitting passes than runnings and take ons. You might mention Vicmo but Vicmo seems to be the exception cos he seems not so keen on Onyekuru, Kayode, Musa (as a starter). He likes them like Iwobi. In fact he has said he he likes one - touch - two - go- football and that he doesn't like players who run like headless chicken

This is where most people miss it. Call for your choice player without putting others down. We should know that many players who will not make the final 23 are still good players. So no need running any player down.

It is when I watched Ndidi do this@the bolded against Argentina that I knew that nicking the ball, sneaking on players, recovery the ball is his special calling. He is truly exceptional in the his ball recovery. Check our first goal, he lost the ball from Iheanacho's pass and quickly in a flash he recovered it again and passed it Nacho.
