OMANBALA1:I have never seen this Dosu guy play, but I would like to tank this particular idea because there is NO goalie, at all, in the history of Nigeria, that is worse than Agbim was for us |

Humility017: I feel Musa has become lukewarm because he believes there is already a permanent spot on the team for him Who can blame him? He keeps getting called up despite hardly ever starting This should stop. This guy isn't playing regularly. It's either he goes out on loan or seeks a permanent transfer. There should be no room on the team for bench warmers He is the only selection Rohr keeps making that I usually don't agree with (including Dan Akpeyi) |

safarigirl:Unfortunately you are the one making immature silly comments for reasons best known to you So cuz the guy scored 1million goals b4 he should be included in the team even if he's warming bench and fans stand every week? How sensible is this thought of yours? I will not insult you but seem you very saucy and uncultured for all the nonsense you said up there. Some people will lose out on WC and Nacho is on that path except he works harder in his club or move out on loan for game time. Please I did not make my comments so you can say rubbish to me if you are not happy about my opinion please skip it and never insult me in your life! I will not say anything further to you on this matter 2 Likes |

safarigirl:mehn, that guy was an insult to almost 200million Nigerians and throws a lot of credibility issue to whoever was our goalkeeping coach then, where is the guy sef? I've not heard anything about him in a long while |

jihday: Julius berger has never been one of the best teams in Nigeria. 2 leagus trophies 1991 and 2000, first round and group stage appearance in caf champions league is not a feat to revel about. |

oloriooko:I'll disagree with this your analogy, Klose was neither a starter nor tearing the net in the run up to the 2014 World Cup, but he still attended anyway because he's been part of the setup and one of the coach's most trusted players 4 Likes |

jihday:Nacho is still young can you compare him to Klose of years of experience? He needs game time for mental and physical ability he cannot dwell on past glory he's gradually sliding down and some newbies on this thread think irrespective of his present form he should be handed a shirt cuz he scored a million goals b4 now 2 Likes |

safarigirl: It seems you did not watch Emeka Okafor who kept for Siasia in the 2009 WYC. That one earned a place in my worst Nigerian goalie. Most connected player goes to Obiora Nwankwo. |

jihday: Yes, they were there as one of the clubs sweating to stay afloat just like Jasper United, Gabros and Udoji but these teams did not measure up to 3SC, Enugu Rangers, Stationary Stores, Spartans later renamed Iwuanyanwy Nationale exploits nor Enyimba fc ,of recent , which is he most successful club in the land. |

TheGoodJoe:You guys are getting this thing wrong No one is saying he should not go to Russia and he should not wait until he gets to the camp b4 he knows his fate. His game time will go a long way to give him an edge when he gets to the camp except our camp is filled with below average players. Nacho is a bundle of talent but presently he's sliding down the ladder. QED |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 8:44pm On Dec 26, 2017 |
oloriooko: What matters is that he keeps working hard in training. He can not force himself on the coach and there is no guarantee the next club will guarantee playing time because it is a loan deal. Puel confirmed Nacho is working hard and I saw improvements in the last game Nacho played. As long as he keeps himself in top condition, he will be okay. He might work his way into the team of Leicester City. 1 Like |

safarigirl:but truth be told....him and musa need to do something as regard this annoying Leicester coach attitude... better nancho gets a loan move elsewhere and musa also.....that coach don't even care about these players.....since he came on bound he has not even given musa at least a minute shift in the main team....haba |

Humility017:so, he will give himself loan move? And if he gets a loan move and they don't play him in the next club? Na so we say make e leave Man City go anotge club, na the other club be this, now na make e go loan. Na siddon look I dey so. Na only World Cup I dey look forward to, all these talk about Kelechi getting loan moves, I no join again. The sale to Leicester has taught me enough 1 Like 1 Share |

forgiveness: Over optimism too dey worry some of us for this thread. I've noticed when that optimism is not fed , all hell seem to break loose. Truth is that none of our attacking players are displaying anything close to world cup form. In the absence of the much maligned Ighalo and Nwakaeme whats we have left this season is as follows; IWOBI= 1 goal VIc Moses =nil Moses Simon=3 goals Isaac Success=nill Kayode= 0 BAzee=nill Aaron Samuel= nill Osimhen= nill Ideye = nill Seriously, these numbers don't inspire confidence. As much as we talk about GKs, it worries me that our attackers are in this paupers form. If we dont have at least 5 players on double figure goals this season , we could sleep walk out of the tournament at the very first round. Even with Bufon in goal. 1 Like |

goldfish80:I have a great idea! Why don't we overhaul all our forwards because they aren't performing and call up every eligible Nigerian that plays that position with at least eight goals this season for the next friendly in March? That should help us get a potent strike force 1 Like |

goldfish80: “We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible—you can beat better teams by using tactics."... Jurgen Klopp. What matters is the formidable force the Super Eagles form when they play as a unit. Not individual flattering records. We got this far with sound tactics, brilliant match reading skills and players doing their best to play to instructions. 4 Likes |

This Swansea of a club is funny. They sacked Paul Clemence for a 35 year old footballer to manage the team. This one is more than African Guardiola thing.
