daveP:In a 4-2-3-1/4-3-3, Wenger will most likely play Mkhi on the left as an inverted winger (on the right if we're truly getting Aubamayeng as Lacazette might play on the left). I'm honestly starting to get worried with Malcom being linked as well. It means Iwobi will be have a harder time getting in the team. Let's not forget Wilshere and Ramsey are around so playing as a CM go be war. Wenger seems to like him though so he'll somehow manage to find space for him |

edi287:If it's that formation, Mkhi would simply slot into Sanchez Spot provided he and Aubameyang don't start the same time. else Iwobi would see the bench, but adapting would make Iwobi have an upper hand. Malcom deal is now weak. Yeah he is the Walcott replacement but Iwobi can play there too. But if results are what PA wenger wants he better let Iwobi and Wishere play in the middle together and let Auba stay central..... and Lacaz would stay on the right. This Transfers would displace Wekbeck though and not Iwobi. 1 Like |

TheSuperNerd:Wouldn't have gotten into Arsenal 11 as Alexis was playing well as a false 9 and his holdup play isn't/wasn't that great at that moment. Like I said, I didn't watch him at the U17s so I'm basing my view on what I watched from his first preseason at city till now. I hope he can display all the qualities you mentioned in due time. At the moment, his allround game is simply lacking. 1 Like |

daveP:Don't know why you guys think Iwobi is good as a CM. Personally I think that is his weakest position. That was where he was playing when he nearly got released. His best position is as a 10 or on the left. I'd never play him as a CM. Auba will play central while Laca plays on the right...they'll rotate. As it is, it's Mkhitaryan and Ozil playing in his best positions. Welbeck is a pipe. That one should be sent to the u12. |

He would have if Sanchez was moved to the left of the attack to accommodate Nacho in the centre. He didn't need to have good enough hold up play... all he needed to have was his positioning and finishing and ability to play on the shoulders of defenders using quick movement to get in behind and exploit space to enable Alexis and Ozil find him with their beautiful incisive passing. Also this could have created a double decoy of Nacho decoy for Alexis and Alexis decoy for Nacho because they can score goals. Alexis was doing well... very true. But Arsenal still struggled to challenge for top 3 or score enough because it was all Alexis. I still believe an Alexis and Nacho combo would have produced twice the goals Alexis alone got in same period. Even you admit to Nacho's finishing prowess. And like I said, because you didnt watch the U-17s, you didn't take note of some vital details like for instance, the first manifestations of his Vision and ability to read a game intelligently. Even now he still shows it in the GWG. He has much untapped potentials but note that I don't expect Nacho to grow along the lines of physicality and skills showmanship like Mbappe... nope. I expect him, from personal observation, to grow more along the lines of "more brains than brawn" harnessing his special football intelligence and bring that to his all-round game. He has the Vision, The finishing, the Positioning, the intelligence to know when to run into space: pick up pace or slow down, he also has the ability to read the game and bring team mates in... What he lacks is consistent work rate, that consistent first touch, that consistent all round presence of asserting your authority in a game.... Nacho is still only 21 and there are no complete packages at this age not even Mbappe. So let's watch him grow and time will be the judge. edi287: |

Loolll... then go read your other stuffs then. Is anyone stopping you? If you come to this thread, it is solely in your hands to decide what and what comments you wanna read... people are free to type as long or as short as they want. If you have a problem with it, then do yourself the favor of skipping some comments. No need complaining coz it is actually "somehow" I also have lots of stuffs doing which is why I am not always present like that. But thankfully I type fast which is why making long comments is nothing to me. Thanks too. somehow: |

There is no comment I hate more than that "...pesin wey no even know say you exist".... It is not until someone knows you exist that you should speak out for the person. Tomorrow, you could be in the spotlight and 'pesin wey you no know' will speak for you. The fact that someone does not know of you today, does not mean said person will not know you tomorrow. Stop waiting to be acknowledged by a person before you speak for the person if you have to, everybody na pesin brother or sister, no be until una see. Someone like me, if I see someone I can relate with, someone whose struggle I can relate with, that person will be my relative for that period because I know I could easily be that person and I will want someone to help me out if I were in said position. So, whether it is Kelechi that is getting mauled, a skinny girl getting mocked, or one single lady being taunted, I go carry the matter like say na me because I know what it's like to be that person If you are so detached from humanity that you wait to know a person personally before you speak out for said person, know that everyone is not like that. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Schmidt: Osimhen Is Working Hard To Earn Wolfsburg Starting Role VfL Wolfsburg manager, Martin Schmidt, says that Victor Osimhen is pushing hard for a starting place at the club following his impressive attitude in training sessions, Completesportsnigeria.com (CSN) reports. Divok Origi has been the club’s first choice since he joined fron Liverpool with Osimhen and Landry Dimata the second and third choice strikers at the club. Osimhen has made five substitute appearances in the Bundesliga this term, totaling just 22 minutes. “They (Landry Dimata and Victor Osimhen) are not far off and are putting pressure on him (Origi),” Schmidt said during his pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday’s Bundesliga clash with Eintracht Frankfurt at the Volkswagen Arena. “During the training sessions, it was made clear that we don’t just have Origi up front. “What Divock has in his favour right now is that he scored in autumn. Dimata and Osimhen are doing really well though and I have every fate in the strikers I have available to me. The squad is better balanced now.” The Green-Whites are 12th in the Bundesliga table with 20 points from 18 games. Arsenal planning to recall Kelechi Nwakali from VVV Venlo loan spell, Porto interested in temporary deal *Nwakali joined VVV Venlo at the start of the season on a season-long loan deal. *FC Porto are keen to sign the midfielder on loan for the rest of the campaign. Arsenal are said to be planning to recall Kelechi Nwakali from his loan spell with VVV Venlo as they are unhappy with the amount of game time being afforded to the Nigerian midfielder. The Gunners midfielder joined the Eredivisie side at the start of the current campaign and was expected to remain in the Netherlands until the end of the season. It is his second spell in the Dutch league after having spent last season in the Juliper League (Dutch first division) with MVV Maastricht. Nwakali, who joined Arsenal in 2016, has made 12 appearances in all competitions for Venlo this season and has been deployed in a number of positions in midfield and on the wings. The midfielder scored on his debut in September 2017, but has not found the back of the net since. The Nigerian Under-17 World Cup winner, however, has made just one appearance in the last seven games, which has made Arsenal take notice. The Arsenal midfiedler's brother, Allwell Nwakali, has indicated that the north London club are in the process of terminating his loan deal and bringing him back to the Emirates. Nwakali will not remain with the Premier League side, as they are said to be holding talks with Porto over a loan deal for the remainder of the campaign. The Portuguese club are said to be wanting an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season, which Arsenal are not willing to accept, as according to the senior Nwakali, his younger sibling will be part of the Gunners first-team in the near future. "Arsenal decided to bring him out from VVV Venlo because the coach was busy playing the players that came from relegation with him leaving players like Kelechi and some other loan players on the bench,'' Allwell Nwakali told allnigeriasoccer.com . ''There's a Real Madrid player (Mink Peeters) that is about to leave the way Kelechi is leaving. Arsenal never wanted him to be on the bench because they have their plans for him. "FC Porto of Portugal are interested and even wanted an option to buy but they are discussing with Arsenal now. Arsenal are not interested for such opinion because they need Kelechi soon in the main team,'' the Arsenal midfielder's older brother added.
