MetalJigsaw:or Mario Mandzukic.. Messi.. Or imagine Ezenwa showboating at the world cup..... Ahhhh.. I honestly believe Uzoho is a better option. He just has to improve, and probably do away with jitters. I observed at every freekick in the Poland game he was struggling to position the defence.. With more games this can be cured though. I know Ezenwa will play the Serbia game.. Cos if I were Rohr I would test him against European opposition to see how he performs.... Fingers crossed. 1 Like |

MetalJigsaw: He needs to get better with his pass. Promising counter attacks broke down because we missplaced simple passes. If we can get that right we could have one of the most lethal fast breaks in the world. Nigeria v Cameroon in Uyo is an example of us getting that right. 1 Like |

MetalJigsaw:I know so many will come for my head, but been an ardent follower of nacho... I have observed he doesn't do well when asked to link midfield and attack... The ss role or am role..... The Chelsea and Poland games have confirmed my assertion.. He was poor in both games.... He's link up play is nothing to write home about... But his pressing was excellent .. He did so well in the Argentina game because odogwu Mikel was linking the play... Just my observation though... I may be wrong |

tbaba1234:Bro, let me tell you something free of charge. When playing an opposition with a very strong attack and central man ( Lewandowski for instance) the most important position that needs personnel is the center of the defense that leads directly to your goal post. It's very important to choke the middle. You don't leave your CB partner in the center against a deadly striker. And That's how Ebuehi plays. watch his last two games. 1 Like |

Farzat: I am Forgiveness and I remain the same. Being on the opposite side of every topic don't in anyway mean one is wrong or right. The most important to me is to always be on the side of truth and justice. That't all. Besides, if there were no criticisms I don't think you will be here supporting the Super Eagles because people fought, criticized, accused, exposed and blamed NFF, the previous coaches against corruption, bribery, embezzlement, nepotism, mafia-rism, cultism, favoritism, godfather-ism, mediocracy etc. People spoke out for what you are enjoying today and it is still their duty to act as watchdog against such nefarious acts in the SE. As at then, people who were shortsighted exonerated the coaching crew and NFF from all their nefarious actions but railed and cursed those who spoke against them. They were tagged agents but today we know they are not. We know they are the true fans come rain come sun shine will always be behind the SE. True fans that knows there is no other National team other than the SE hence their need to defend only what they posses. 1 Like |

Dedebanky85: Of course everybody and their mothers will comment once it involves Nigeria but that does not move me one bit. I see a league that is on the rise and a few bad apples can never rotten the bunch as long as they are fished out when due and the LMC has proved that they will do that. |

Jeez! What do u want him to do again? There was no way he could have cleared that ball at any other height given his own physical height. We act like these guys are super human. Bro they are flesh and blood like us. Uzoho rushed out for the ball and blinded everyone including the Polish players. Why didn't the Polish players act super human and bundled the ball in? Lemme bounce a ball at that height and tell me if you wont adjust your body to clear it. Kai we should be fair on these guys. MetalJigsaw: 4 Likes |

MetalJigsaw: The CB covers for the FB when he is out of position.. That is normal. You can not stay in the middle when your full back is out of position. The most important thing in defending is maintaining the overall shape. Covering your full backs is a normal role for a centre back. |

komekn: Must you guys add Aluko and Obagoal in almost every sentence you make? You guys will find it very hard to explain to any sane mind that you're not paid for this? This is not funny anymore and it's exasperating at the same time. You're even making some of us "hate" these players. Look at what you wrote up there for instance. Are they Messi or Ronaldo. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Why do I think Moses kills our cohesive team work. If Vic Moses was in the field against Argentina in the second half we would never have seen those fluent moves. I know he can change a game but sometimes he gotta be more of a team player. Quick releases, one-twos, and faster passes. If he starts doing these things in addition to his dribblings he'd be phenomenal in Russia. |

kennysville: Exactly my point, he is an alpha in the Eagles team so he becomes too authoritative. He only simmers down when he feels there is someone bigger in Mikel. If he keeps on doing things his way he will cause a negativity in the team. Take nothing away from him though. |

komekn:those two players will never make rohr world cup list....I can bet on that... none of them will get called.... so the earlier you excuse yourself from that fantasy the better. you put up good words and analysis up there..only to spoil it with the aluko and obagoal desire.... please let's support the super eagles regardless of our individual interest...I observe even if rohr should give a call up to all players we all long for on this thread...so many of us will still not be pleased.... I was thinking by now...citing the impossibility of including any of your British boys...in the super eagles set up for Russia... (the time for change of allegiance will take quite a longer time) will make you change your mind for the time being support the crop of players we currently have...but that wasn't the case...rather you have chosen to keep crying for the inclusion of players...players that will never make the team...and I can bet you gonna keep chantinv for this guys even two days to the world cup.... 2 Likes |
