tbaba1234: Has Eze Ebere being more impressive than Abdul Ajagun this season? I am not saying he should not be called but if he's called, then Abdul Ajagun must be on the list. Or Rohr doesn't know Nigeria players doing well abroad. We are watching. 3 Likes |

somehow: Ask AC Roma, dey will tell you Kayode scared the life out of them with his two goals and assist in Europa League over two matches. Don't forget, he scored against an Italian defensive team twice. I don't think it's is moi moi. Kayode Olanrewaju is far better than Dessers and Umar combined. Those two lads are not in his level. Give him the chance to prove himself and he will deliver. |

Certitude: What did Mikel Obi do for us before 2013 after almost a decade in the National team? It is a big lost to Nigeria because there are no striker as competent as Martins Obafemi currently in the National team. Oh.. ha! 2 Likes |

forgiveness: Ideye is very hardworking and links up play well but his finishing is poor. Umar is strong, fast and skilful, also holds up play well but can do better with finishing. Dessers, better finisher than Umar and Ideye, good on both feet but not as strong as them Kayode, fast and disturber in chief, closes the ball better than the rest, finishing average, not great in holding up play.. 6 Likes |

Sincerely, this Nigerian team is a disaster waiting to happen. We are lacking in both the striking and goalkeeping department and our midfield is basically nonexistent. Supposing something happens to Mikel before or during the World Cup, what would be our fate? Rohr needs to do something fast about the goalkeeping department. The goalkeeper trainers need to show some urgency. I don't and can never be comfortable with Uzoho, Ezenwa or Akpeyi manning the post. Perhaps, they should invite Austin Ejide next time. |

tbaba1234: I have seen all played. Brown Ideye and Kayode Olarewaju are far better. Umar struggled in Seria A. Forget stats. I monitored his games. Besides, if Kayode Olanrewaju finishing is average, how come he scored double digits goals for 4 straight seasons? If Kayode Olanrewaju finishing is average then Umar and Dessers are below average. Take that to the bank. |

tbaba1234: The World Cup is different from Qualifiers. Moreover, it was not like we were super against Zambia and Algeria in our last two matches. But, tell me, what do you have against Ejide? I can't remember Ejide's run-up to 2014 WC. |

forgiveness: You will always say Kayode is the best, he is one of your favorite players alongside Ajagun, ilori.. .. Kayode finishing is average, when he went to a better league, it showed.. Ideye was scoring a lot in Ukraine but when the standard was higher he could not produce. Umar had limited opportunities in Serie A but he showed his ability in pre season and now in the Eredivise. In his recent games, he has made me a believer in his abilities. He still needs to improve on his finishing. His finishing is not good enough yet. Dessers has one of highest goal scoring rates per minute in the eredivise. 7 Likes |

BluntBoy:World Cup is different from qualifiers, but you think this team is weak based on what? If anything should be compared to the World Cup, it is the qualifiers, because that was a competitive game. It should be taken more seriously than friendlies, because I know, all this talk arose from our recent friendlies 3 Likes |

BluntBoy: The team still finished undefeated.. Even the best teams in the world are not excellent in every game. Ejide was very poor in the friendlies leading to the 2014 WC. In the game against Scotland, he appeared to have thrown the ball deliberately into the net. You can see for yourself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9PV8lqBknA |

forgiveness: Because his contribution won us last nation cup means he should be invited,i weep for you keep on living on past glory Mario gotze goal won Germany last World Cup,And I am not sure he will make their squad because he has been out of form,so Germany should look at his past glory right ? Just the way Eder goal won Portugal the European championship but since then he has he been invited ? You are just a typical example of a Nigeria coach with no clue 6 Likes 1 Share |

tbaba1234: That's why you are not being objective but rather subjective in reasoning because you think 'they are my favorite players'. That is the height of ridiculousness. The question should be, do they deserve to be mentioned based on performance as at the time they were clamored for? Yes or no. That's is being objective in reasoning. Did you watch Kayode Olanrewaju in the la Liga? Can you please tell me the match you watched Kayode played that it showed that is finishing was average? Can you tell me the position he played in the match? Please, make sure you tell me of atleast 2 or 3 matches? When I said you are biased and subjective in analysis, I don't think I am going too far else how can you make excuses for Sadiq Umar for not having game time but condemned Kayode without thinking Sadiq Umar had better chances than Kayode Olanrewaju in Sergio_A? How many games and minutes did Kayode play in la Liga? 12 matches with 375 minutes only. Don't forget he started only twice and on the second occasion he assisted twice and won MOTM. I will not tell you where he played in some of matches he came on. Let us see you really watched the match or YouTube self. Now, what about Sadiq Umar? 16 matches with 642 minutes game time. So, from your biased mind, Kayode had more game time than Sadiq Umar, right? Mtcheww! Umar missed many scoring chances in Sergio_A I saw him played, oh.. ha! Ask those who saw him played here, they will tell you. So, stop the lies and be objective for once. The first snapshot is Kayode’s stats while the second is Sadiq's stats. I repeat, Brown ideye and Kayode olanrewaju are far better than Dessers and Umar. 2 Likes

safarigirl: For those of us who watched keenly, the talk began right from the Cameroon vs Nigeria return fixture and then through the Zambia match in Uyo and the last match against Algeria where Ezenwa's inadequacy was laid bare. The friendlies were merely further pointers of the disaster awaiting us if we don't do something about this team. |
