Can’t imagine why someone will descend so low to insult another person parents. You only insult people parents Cos you don’t have respect for yours, that’s just the way it is. Really awfull and I dey shames to dey see all this kind insult especially to parents Kai!!. Well as for me nobody dare insult my parents Cos if I cry (literary) go house (Benin), the culprit go hear ween!!.#plantain leaf to fly from Benin to any location nor be moi moi lol#. On a serious note.. let have respect for other people parents even if you don’t have respect for yours. 8 Likes 1 Share |

mbjane:My man nothing like afraid cos a man should always be a man in any situations and handles things maturely or else things w scattered beyond imagination. Mind you soetanoreoluwa and TheSuperNerd have already accused Safari of startling the insult but as a man there is need for us to appeal more to Andrew to take it easy especially on her parents and move on as a man. 2 Likes |

Friends, Countrymen Nairalanders...... It grieves me to say we have kinda lost all decorum on this thread. World cup is just around the corner and here we are we seem to have exhausted all the meaningful contributions with respect to super Eagles. Hence we resort to personal verbal attacks. Haba .... What will we be discussing when world cup comes after we have abused one another in the name of trying to be right or disproving someone else's points? Its time we started respecting one another regardless of how supposedly dumb someone's input is. Arguments are basically a function of perspective. Which means we dont all see the angles all at once. Its only God that is all knowing and all seeing. This message is not for recent feuding parties but rather, for everyone. Enough of insults already. I think for us to understand the import of what we are saying, I recommend that everyone goes to watch this Eddie Murphy's movie titled "A thousand words"..... maybe we will get wiser. The word of God says in proverbs, "in the multitude of words, sin will always abound" . Lets stop this "I am right, she is wrong " stuff when in the heat of arguments. Just because we call this thread a faceless forum doesnt mean some people cant hunt you down with whatever moniker you using. The Oyinbo that made pencil is also the one who made eraser. So lets not fool ourselves that we have privacy and monopoly of what to say at whatever time. R-E-S-P-E-C-T...... Thats all humanity wants! Up Super Eagles 4 Likes |

OMG. and SMH Is this really the new glory that we see on this thread nowadays? See, the last thing anyone would want to hear is who is wrong or right in such a beef or debate like this. This is a public forum first, so every head that makes up the 1.9millionmembers of this forum will always be a cross reference to being quoted by even a stranger one day. agree today or not. Conflict triggers started from your side @safarigirl, and though he was/is wrong for calling out your parents, Its not good to hit below the belt and expect to be hit above the chest in response. like Cmon now? 100s of us are on this very thread and we have different IQs which doesn't make a big difference except in rare cases because our love for the game trumps intelligence or superiority. This is not ideal atall. Let's stop resulting to insults of our physicality to pass across cheap points. Maybe I don't get tired of explaining to someone who doesn't get my point, but someday, someone can push me to the wall and no one would want to chose sides if they found out the origin. That's a law court's standard. phew. Andrew444, that wasn't needed atall. There were better choices of insults, at worst case scenario, not her parents. Must we keep fighting like kids everyday and expect our perceived maturity to be maintained? 8 Likes 1 Share |

Eagles Fans Favorite Joel Obi Disagrees With Keshi: I Was Fit For 2014 World Cup Super Eagles fans favorite Joel Obi has insisted that he was fit enough to be named in Nigeria's 23-man roster for the 2014 World Cup. The late Stephen Keshi had named the Torino star as one of the nine midfielders on the provisional squad list but axed him from the final list announced, citing lack of fitness. Though Joel Obi has criticized the former Nigeria skipper for omitting him, checks revealed that the attacking midfielder was indeed struggling for match fitness as he had only six minutes of game time in Parma's last nine matches in the Serie A during the 2013-14 season. ''I heard many things about me. Even the last World Cup people were saying I was injured, I was not fit, that wasn't true. It is part of football,'' Joel Obi told Kwese Sports. ''I am happy to be back. I am really focused to do my best so I can make it for the World Cup.'' Some Nigerian fans are not totally convinced that Gernot Rohr should take Joel Obi to the 2018 World Cup as a result of his poor injury record and had their hearts in their mouths when he was badly tackled several times during Nigeria's friendly against Poland last month. ''Something they have to know is injury is part of the game, you can't predict injury, sometimes it happens, that's football. The most important thing is to keep praying to God to be injury free. ''In games like that you have opponents that want to intimidate you, so you have to be ready. You have to be ready in any game we play that anything can happen. It is part of the game. ''The fans were afraid that I should not pick up an injury but I am not afraid of that. I am the first player to make a tackle, that is my style, I am not someone afraid of receiving kicks,'' added Joel Obi. 3 Likes |
